Itās being replaced by lurkers which are cheaper, faster and more mobile.
Infestor is getting buffed. It means tier 2 zerg beats skytoss and skyterran by researching 1 upgrade when normally youād need an ultra expensive brood infestor army to do it.
Less multitasking for zerg players.

Considering how the Microbial Shroud will halve the Liberatorās damage (which is a big deal to Hydralisks), thatās quite a buff.
Iām not saying there are no nerfs. There are both buffs and nerfs, and Iām looking forward to seeing how the changes play out eventually.

The liberator lost 1 range, zerg ground units take half damage from liberators and zerg ground zone control gained +1 range, yet this isnāt a buff to zerg? Okā¦
Previously liberator contains were broken by zoning under them with broodlords, then moving in with corruptors to force the liberators to unsiege. This was a ridiculously expensive and immobile army locked behind a mountain of tech investments. Now zerg can zone with lair tech units (lurkers) and break liberator contains with lair tech units (infestor for MS + hydras). Zerg does the same thing but with cheaper, more mobile, and more accessible units. This is a huge buff both to zergs mid-game and late-game.
My prediction is that MS is OP and has to be nerfed.
Important factor here is timing. Will you die to Ranged Lib or will you live long enough to upgrade Lurker den to shoot airā¦ Oh wait.

It isnāt just 3 Zergs won Blizzcons one each yearā¦ I wouldnāt say that if one player was so good. This year came after complete Z domination in all tournaments where numbers were often half of Playoffs = Zerg, at least 1-2 Z each semis and one in a final.
Protoss was not behind in representation, sometimes even more than Z. Terran was the one that barely seen, then you ask why T will get these on new balans
