I lose to some idiot 4800 to rng and then i can beat consistently 5600 GMS. I beaten even 6k players with my main 5300 terran, but i lose to 4600-4800 protoss and lost probably at the same time… Because i practiced always macro, i may lose to some idiot all in, or mind game, or cheese, or rng… But i can beat good players!
Good for you. What is the point of those daily threads with BS?
Do you think that Blizzard will nerf Protoss and buff terran just because a casual rager (yes, you are the meltdown-guy with the new afternoon account) opens a new identical thread for each account here?
Is your Dia level (at best) meaningful for 6800-7400MMR range where the game is balanced?
Casual rager, isf raging = proving facts and analysis, then yes. I know they are not probably gonna do anything marvellous, but even blizzard has to nerf protoss next year. It is beyond broken and i will give them sh it for not balancing game and milking their customers for $…
The dude learned that P is a good cheesing race, let him be happy. he isn’t proving anything, everyone knows P cheese and that cheesing at ladder is what gives you more mmr.
This community is dying, because trolls, which flame people who talks about balance constructively and politely, it doesn’t matter at all!!! You can’t have constructive discussion on these forums, you will get only flamed. So why be polite? Doesn’t make sense!
It isnt constructive to claim one race is overpowered when it isn’t.
It isn’t constructive asking for nerfs for a race which is already struggling in the pro scene
If you wanna come up with actual solutions be my guest.
But there are tons of Protoss who are pointing at flaws with current Protoss design and are happy to see it change.
Yet, most people aren’t after a constructive feedback session to solve issues with the Protoss race, they just wanna see Protoss nerfed because they hate them emotionally. There is no logic or objectivity in them, only emotional hatred.
Cause many of the issues in Protoss also affect PvP. It’s just that most people just accept that as the way it is.
I left before 2018 when the severe protoss nerfs were added, and came back a little after they started repairing protoss again.
But stuff like Observer nerf shocked me when I noticed it.
How the heck can’t an observer move together with the deathball.
All nerfs to protoss which people just accept. These are fine nerfs, even though they hurt Protoss more than any other. No more mobile detection against DT’s in PvP. Etc.
Other analysis can be made in the Pro Scene where we see that many Protoss Pro’s only are competitive again after a major amount of balance changes trying to fix the PvZ problem of the last 2 years.
I don’t deny that Protoss was favored versus Terran. Nobody is denying that.
Thats also what the data shows, but in the end, Protoss really needed buffs to bring them in line with at least competitive levels with Zerg.
Further Terrans are doing great in Tournaments, while Protoss aren’t. Showing there was less of a need of fixing the matchup on the higher end.
IDIOT we have race distribution per leagues… https://www.rankedftw.com/stats/races/1v1/#v=2&r=2&l=6p
Done answering to you , you are even more stupid that EarthenKiwi or BabaYaga.
When I see Korea i see there is only 1% difference between Terran and Protoss in GM.
So it’s funny that a region where people are way better at the game, the leagues are way more balanced.
And then in the US terrans are just underperforming Zerg even though the worldwide trend is zerg is the least played in the GM ladder.
So whats your argument there.
It’s just different distributions, you can’t just claim this is the way it is, when you have multiple ladders per region showing very different results.
Balance is done around top level, if there is no change in that data, why should we think that there is some imbalanced thing?. Of course the battery change was an improvement for protoss, but was it imbalanced?, outside ladder, the results in tournaments are pretty much the same as always.
Analizing games is the way, most whiners don’t do that, even if they bring some VOD, their view is really skewed, they will point a fight lost at certain minute and won’t say anything about something that happened two minutes earlier and that affected the outcome of the next fight.
I repeat, the balance is done around the top level, tournament games and based on their gameplay, stats are not enough, they just show a part of the whole thing.
Beucase not equal skill representation? You 1 iq, sample size of 20 players with 5 toses. It is like to have 3 bronze players, 4 silver players, 5 gold leaguers, 4 plats and 3 diamonds. Does this look like balanced sample size? IDIOT! BUT YOU ONLY TROLL SO… SO I WILL JUST CALL YOU AN IDIOT…
Skill is determined by the gameplay=reviewing the VODS, not by just saying ‘‘this dude is better, he should win against this other player and if he loses its because the game is imbalanced’’.
Aligulac is not the best thing that can be analised.
In my view, if one wants properly assess state of a race, the person should use all useful information available, including win-ratios across all leagues, race distribution across leagues, comparisions with other races, investigate design of race, top players in best tournaments, top players in races, comparisions with other races and a few more aspects.
Aligulac is not best thing available. Aligulac can be supported by other sources, and can support other sources. The more information you can process, analize and understand, the more clear picture you can get.
But it’s awfully time-consuming, and it’s Activision’s job, they get paid for doing this (and probably have better sources available).
