surprised Solar beat Maru in that macro game, then again, Maru didn’t do really any economic damage, and traded a significant portion of his army for the 4th.

too bad he is stinking it up in game 2.
Meh. Solar is a Ro16 zerg. I honestly don’t remember the last time he made it past the Ro16. Maybe 2016 at the latest? HotS? Maru shouldn’t lose this series.
Maru hasn’t been the Maru of old in a while. and he sat on his haunches in game 1 and paid for it.
and maru goes down. no agression. no eco damage. he just let solar macro up.
People keep saying Mutas are bad units, but if you don’t kill them, then they do so much. They did a ton in both games just by their very presence on the map, forcing withdrawals and keeping Maru back, and the thing about mutas is that it prevents drops, prevents you from really being able to attack and get damage done. They’re pretty much always good units.
It’s not that Solar wasn’t touched, because early on, he was - it just wasn’t enough. Which effectively meant that Solar got free reign over the game because he had mutas.
Granted, Maru’s 3rd game wasn’t as good as his 1st or his second though.
maru didn’t even do that much damage in game 1 either. he got like 4-5 drones and the 4th. at the expense of about half his army. he did trade very efficiently, making excellent use of his ghosts, which just goes to show why i laugh whenever i see “Bio Late Game Sucks”.
Lol at Artosis talking about Zergs that think that they are superior human beings instead of admitting that PvZ is imbalanced (e.g. Velitey19)

PvZ is a problem, but balancing it is a nightmare with TvZ being fine and PvT being a problem too.
how do you nerf zerg without impacting TvZ or buff protoss without affecting PvT?

thats the desing of the matchup 
try to play a nice,laid back game against zerg? ohh you will just get a moved and lose and nothing you can do
then again,terran has the tools to hit timings to prevent that from happening
man,bio lategame doesnt suck if its equal bases vs equal bases in the end
guess what zerg can do? outgrow the terran and guarantee themselves the lategame
guess what terran can do? prevent that by hiting timings
bio lategame comp doesnt sck,terran scks lategame,unless of course,terran did huge damage midgame,but zerg still survived and stalled the game,and then it looks like,ohh terran is competent lategame
while in reality zerg is just stalling because they already lost 10 mins ago
if you want to play nice and laid back, you go mech. not bio. bio is an aggressive build.
Balancing the game is not my job.I don’t have a clear answer.
I just think that after all the protoss nerfs that made PvZ a broken match up we could stop using other MU as an excuse to not change the state of the game.
PvZ is awful when zerg wins cause it’s clear that the MU is imbalanced and is bad when toss wins too cause nobody wants to see an adept all in (only really viable build for protoss) for the millionth time.

then again you see people cry at the power of bio ,yea agression is its strength,but stop for too long(could be 2 mins) and zerg just grows so much you are lost(thats the power of zerg)
people just cant acknowledge different races are different and look at the game like "oh my god terran can drop widow mine and kill me workers omg i want zerg widow mines"Yea right,if terran doesnt do that you just a move them and win,thats simple

So how do you be aggressive when mutas are out? You’re literally forced into being on the back foot.
You can do that against hydras - we saw that in game 2. He was aggressive, and was able to keep creep-spread back, kill bases etc.
But in games 1 and 3, the moment mutas hit the field, all aggression was forfeit and Zerg has map control - which you can’t cede to Zerg because then they outgrow you. So what do you do? Pray that the Zerg throws all his mutas away by being an idiot?
