The bug happened when searching for 1v1 matches. When I find the game and before the “3,2,1” count down, a yellow warning box pops up saying that “a problem occurred while connecting to the game. Please try again later ”. It happens approximately 4 of 10 searches. I first noticed this issue 2 weeks ago, and it’s still exiting today.
My friends in Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand also suffer from the same issue, so I am not the only case. Even a random guy on the ladder asking me this issue today. I guess this issue might be related to the Versus match severs, at least Australian server

Happens to me too, extremely frustrating. I’d almost prefer to have to play with 200 ping on KR than put up with this. It seems to happen more often during later hours (After 2AM AEST)

I was playing teams(again) today and players kept on leaving the games during game play. Also they took control of other players in order to win the matches. The game of the loopholes must close. Thanks.
