Zarya OWL skin, where is it?

Zarya is awesome, where is the suit skin I have been watching OWL just to get points to get it?!

That skin will never be released again due to the incident regarding Sinatraa, the OWL 2019 MVP, whom the skin was made for.

The official statement from the Overwatch League.

Please note the refund window for the Alien Zarya skin has since ended and can no longer be refunded. For those who still have it, the skin has been altered to remove the championship markings on the left sleeve of the character.

I can’t begin to describe how bad of a PR move it would be for Blizzard right now to resell the skin celebrating an alleged r*pist.

We take any allegations of this nature seriously and unequivocally support victims of abuse

Oof, that one didn’t age very well

No. It didn’t.

So I am being punished for some rando?

What does he get money every time someone buys this skin?

Don’t be so silly, release the skin.

WyomingMyst can’t release the skin; he’s not even a blizzard employee

And they choose to remove the skin and offer refunds because it is associated and made for a player who supposedly comitted sexual asault, and blizzard didn’t want that. People were begging for the skin to be removed before it was

As in Overwatch release the skin… obviously not WyomingMyst…

The point stands as I am being punished for some random person for some alleged act by the sound of it. That is unjust, you don’t punish other people for someone else’s mistake…

Sintra is a heavily recognized and influential figure in both ow and valorant. He’s no rando and bringing the skin back would mean blizzard supports someone accused of rxpe. The skin is tied directly to him, it’s his skin no way around that.

I have no idea who that guy is, so his sphere of influence is subjective to you. From my perspective it is Zarya’s skin and you are punishing me for someone I don’t even know who is by your words ‘accused of rape’.

Where does this guy come from, if he is in e-sports it must be a near civilized country? With a justice system? Maybe punish him for his crime through the channels setup by a civilized country not Blizzard forums kangaroo court.

Because let me tell you plainly, You and people of your kangaroo justice ilk are punishing me.

Can you understand that?

How bout you leave justice to the courts and release the skin. Stop being so silly.

Then don’t call him silly, he has no control over skin releases.

Eh it happens, they want to avoid bad PR so this is the easiest way to do it. Also there will probably be better Zarya skins released anyway.

It really didn’t :skull:

I like how they support victims of abuse by punishing innocent bystanders…

It isn’t a punishment…
Where do you get this victim mentality that you are being punished because they won’t resell a skin tied to an alleged r*pist?
They just can’t have the PR. The best hope you can have is that they release it into the lootbox pool or something to devalue it and consider it a normal cosmetic.

It’s just the circumstances.

The hypocrisy. This is why I never fall into this PR stunts, the companies say anything the “public” wants to read/hear, will get rid of anyone liable to try to preserve its image but are much worse than any individual offenders.

This is the most entitled god damn take I have seen in a long time. You’re not being punished, you’re just acting like a spoiled brat.

I don’t like your tone at all. Who do you think you are attacking me like this? Are you trying to pick a fight with me?

Please explain to the audience:

I am really confused, a Zarya skin was released, you can either watch OWL to get or pay for tokens to buy that by right of ‘commercial’ transaction. I watched OWL so that I could ‘buy’ the skin. I earned the right to that skin. Your attacking one-liner implies that I did not earn it yet I think I deserve (entitlement) it and you denigrate me a full grown man into a child. Your post can be argued as against the CoC.

I made the point that I didn’t know who Sinatraa was because I just wanted the skin that wasn’t there. But now Sinatraa is infamous thanks to people like you.

I made the point that I had earned the right to buy that skin and with it taken away I was the one being punished. Do you really think Sinatraa cares that I didn’t get the skin? Who is being punished here? I can’t speak for Sinatraa but I can say that if this currency were like a legal tender then I am the one being punished because I am being denied access to goods and services with a currency I earned.

I made the point that if there was any criminal activity, assuming Sinatraa lives in a first world country there will be a justice system that is put in place to deal with said criminal activity. The Justice system is there to not only punish the guilty but protect the innocent.

I know you think I only have a 2 cent problem, while others here just allege Sinatraa committed a 200 dolla crime, the Justice system is there to protect the innocent and punish the guilty. Punishing me and 99 999 other people like me doesn’t equal justice dealt to Sinatraa. What is my crime?

If you and Blizzard want to do something, go and start a gofundme and pay for a prosecutor, gather evidence and take your case through the courts, but don’t you and Blizzard step in as judge and jury and punish me for what? I don’t even know. Only savages hold kangaroo courts and assuming you are from America you should know what kind of ‘justice’ that dealt out?

I don’t need your god to damn me, I didn’t do anything wrong. You did.

Yup so true.
I really wish I got the skin, I would of actually brought some tokens. Oh well… :pensive:

It was a Sinatraa skin, whether you believe it or not, that’s what it was. Sinatraa is considered tainted, so is everything attached to him. The skin will likely NEVER come back.
