Oy oy, I did a post like this on the Heroes of the Storm forum! (Did I inspire you by any chance?)
I’m a Mediator (INFP-A / INFP-T), and Orisa is my main. Partly because of her kit, but mostly because I just adore her as a character.
I think it’s the eyes that really do it for me
^ ^
When you responded to me I was talking about human personalities. Not “subgroups for people queued for an arcade.” You don’t get to respond to me and then try to tell me I was talking about a different subject.
You’re clearing lacking some critical part of being able to have a coherent conversation, so in case you’re just a child or possibly an adult lacking in capacity I wont bother to engage you further.
I like the test, but I honestly don’t think I’m an INFP-T. I 100% have anger issues (like every woman on my mum’s side and ALL of my dad’s mum’s side) and while I like looking into things and people, never seeing anything as completely black and white…I’m not some calm mediator who just wants to be quiet and listen to people’s struggles all day… I don’t know what I am.
Architect, INTJ-T. I’m extremely ‘introverted’ and ‘turbulent’ but pretty much everything else is balanced (or less than a 60/40 split anyway).
Mains: Moira, Junkrat and D.Va. I’d say Zen and Mei are my next two down.
As a rule of thumb, I’d say I like forgiving characters, or slightly hybrid. Moira is a healer than has escape abilities and can fight if she needs to. D.Va has fantastic manoeuvrability and can save herself and teammates with DM as well as hunting down enemies. Mei is a dps with tank-ish abilities than can act as a ‘get-out-of-jail-free card’. Junkrat can hide round corners and stay out of sight while still contributing, and his trap can act as a warning about flankers. Zen’s might not be forgiving, but I think I like getting to throw out dps while still helping teammates on healer? Idk, that’s the trend I see.
I’m an INFJ-T and my enneagram is 2w1. Surprise, surprise I’m unsure who my main is. I go wherever I feel I’m needed. Main goal is to support my team however I can even if it’s not playing Support. Typically it’s usually Support but again if I feel that my team needs to apply more pressure or leading the charge I will switch to Tank or DPS. I will say that everytime I switch to Tank or DPS I’m always wishing I had chosen Support so I guess that answers that. We need more Support characters because I get real bored. Lifeweaver in my opinion is great and can output a lot of heals however I’m not as good with his attack (Thorn Volley) to output damage. I don’t know if it’s just me or the projectile is too slow but dang… No one is afraid to charge me I have 11 hours with Lifeweaver and I think the highest I’ve gotten so far is 13 kills but I put out an average of 12k± heals so I’d say that’s pretty good.
My Support mains are Lifeweaver, Brigette and Moira.
DPS main are Tracer, Sombra and Symmetra
Tank mains are Ramattra, Junker Queen and recently D.VA
Very interesting reading the responses. Have you found any correlation between types and the characters they play?
