The Input delay/lag of your mouse and keyboard gets affected by the Killfeed! This applies to the whole Community and therefore every Overwatch Player!
How I discovered this Problem:
When going into Trainingsrange and you press Ctrl + Shift + N to open the Netgraph, there is an Indicator for how big your Input Lag is, called “SIM”. When you kill the Trainingsbots, while you have opened the Netgraph, you will notice slight increases in your SIM Number. For example: I have an Input Lag of 6.5 (Im running 155Fps without any drops). But when I kill a Bot and he gets displayed in the Killfeed (this is important) the Input Lag rises from 6.5 to a range of 6.8 - 8 Maximum and it feels like your Input Lag rises for a second. It feels minor in my case, but still noticable (The Fluctuations in the SIM Number can for every individual Player differentiate, depending on what Hardware you are using).
One Solution (But obviously not an optimal One):
But when turning of the Killfeed in the Overwatch options under the category Gameplay, this does fix the whole Issue. My SIM Number stays 100% at 6.5 all of the time no matter how many Trainingsbots I kill and I have to say it feels much smoother when you kill something. Problem is that the Killfeed is very important and turning it off doesn´t seem like a valid option.
This Problem should not exist and Blizzard is actually forced to make sure the game runs flawlessly in every category! Cause this is a really big Problem that affects EVERYONE!

So in other words, you have no proof it only FEELS different?
I have proof, cant you read? Your SIM Number is your Input lag! So when the Number rises your Input Lag increases. And I only said that you can feel it too, when It decreases. In my case (pretty beffy PC) this is minor. But on a friends Computer its much more noticable. And when I say that your SIM Number doesnt fluctuate, when you turn off the Killfeed this is a 100% legitimate proof. Something isnt right with the games Input while you have your Killfeed on.
He’s right about this. It happens to me too and I’ve recorded a video for proof, but this forum won’t let me link anything.
But if you go to Youtube and search for “Kill feed SIM spikes”, you can see for yourself and yes, turning off the kill feed fixes this completely. On my computer, when something dies in a game with the kill feed on, the SIM value spikes from 6.5 (154 display cap) to 13 at times which I think would be the equivalent of running at half the framerate, and when tracking on a hero like Soldier in a hectic fight with multiple people dying, it makes my mouse feel floaty and weird.

We have the same Fps Cap, but my SIM jumps to a Maximum of 8. But the spikes were higher (I remember around 12ish), before I overclocked my i5 6500 to 4.2 Ghz. This is really weird.
I’m OC’d to 4.4ghz on my i7 6700k. Have you tried it in a proper game, either with bots or other players? In the training range, the spikes are minor.
I went back, and it turns out I misread. However, I can read.

Made a thread on it recently, well I just hope this problem will get fixed asap.
I really hope that too. As an alternative: Couldnt we open an open petition here in the Forums, to sign in everyone who wants a Fix for this? Maybe then Blizzard will listen to us.

I hope we can, actually what we want is certain response from Blizzard, about if it will be handled soon? in the future ? or even not at all ?
I guess to bring up the issue to the awareness of Blizzard, as well as people that have no idea about it we need to make this thread a little bigger, I guess it can work as well.
So to anyone who reads it, if you will be able to say it happens to you as well, we will probably be able to get a response .
Ok, so who’s gonna make the petition, im not really experience enough to do that kind of thing
Im not scared, im just not responsible enough to handle a petition that will get lots of sigh, and my english is kinda mediocre
Yup, my ticket had been answered about 7 or 8 hours ago, and they said “it was my hardwares fault, not the game”
Im really done with this game

I’ve never made a petition but hopefully we get a response from GrassHopper and there’s a guy called Ashr(I think ?) that is into this subject not less than us. If they have something to add or they made a petition it can help, I don’t mind the sigh and my English is ok.
Oh I saw your last message now, and I think it’s nonsense! We have proof it’s not your hardware.
As some people have it and some of them have really supreme hardware as well, so I don’t buy their response unless they give much more specified response.
“hardware’s fault” is so general that I can’t even answer that response, like, which part is responsible to that problem in the hardware ???
It doesn’t sound like a hardware problem at all, so I think we deserve at least an explanation.
Im not an expert, when it goes about an open petition. I hoped someone of you may know something about this. I searched a bit in the Internet and found someone posted an open petition in the forums or World of Warcraft. So I could do something similar and post about this. The only way this could work out if we get as much people to comment on this so the Thread gets bigger and bigger so Blizzard has to notice this earlier or later, when the Thread reappears everytime in the Top of the forums, when someone comments in this thread.
Here is my newest ticket that has the “hardwares fault” response
htttps://us.battle.net/support/en/case/detail/63017326
(Htttp to http) don’t forget to change to use the link
Went on that link but it seems like its timed out already:/
It’s timed out for me as well.
I agree and that’s what I said some messages ago, we need more people to comment/at least like comments to make this subject much bigger, I hope people will notice the thread and will be aware of this.
Hopefully Blizzard will respond at certain point as well
I just tested this out in-game and it seems to be true. My input lag jumps from 6.5 to 11.3 with the killfeed, but stays at a constant 6.5 when the killfeed is off.

Ooh sorry about that
Tldr: Giving me useless information, telling me to give dxdiag and MSinfo even though i’ve given them but the asked again so i give it again.
Tell me to screenshot of the graph when the spike happened (so i just make a video yo make it easier), and telling me to screenshot my temp after playing (they told me, that there is no sign of over heat)
And giving me a conclusion of…Hardwares fault
Fak me
