It’s barely been a day and the news cycle of literally everywhere is having a field day about it with the nicest thing said about Blizzard is that they are incompetent. This isn’t just normal anger like when Tracer’s primary fire range was bugged recently.
This is gonna hurt sales and monthly/daily players 100%.

I didn’t even notice this until you pointed it out, I made a thread about it yesterday with over 300 replies and it is gone now. My guess is that they couldn’t contain the flame war in the replies because there wasn’t any action against my account

its not really successful when things are severely bugged and also watchpoint was originally promised early access to PVE which they freaking scrapped
I understand the frustration, because there are a bunch of lies. At the same time, I think some of you while aware, simply aren’t connecting with the idea that many players simply don’t care, and enjoy a lot about the game and are satisfied with most of what comes with their experience.
Myself for example. I figured all this crap out a while ago, and just said hell, I’m going to enjoy what’s here. I can move on as soon as I don’t enjoy the energy put forth. You can say I’m being played or whatever way you’d like to describe me, I don’t care. Playing OW is just a fraction of what I do with my life, and the rest of it I enjoy even more outside of this game.
You can tell me I’m satisfied with trash, and I wouldn’t lose an ounce of sleep over it. It’s still just a video game. Not only that, but it shouldn’t be taken seriously. Further more, I know what I’ve stepped into. If this game dies 4 hours from now, I’d say to myself “it was fun while it lasted” and move on. Take it or leave it.
It’s a far cry from writing out farewell posts and spilling my guts over how depressed this game makes me. Or telling people they are responsible for the genocide on the continent of Africa for buying skins, funding Blizzards anti human agenda.
People. It’s just a game. Stick it to them by moving on. We know you love/hate it and are passionate about it, that’s why there’s post after heart broken post. Nothing lasts forever. It’ll be okay.

Yeah I heard the same thing about the Phone thing when this launched…They do care if people make a big enough stink about it. M$ would like good press as they’re completing their buyout I’m sure of it.

“Our” anger means nothing indeed.
The only way to send a direct message is by boycotting the game and what I mean by that is not even logging in daily anymore.
But let’s be real : most people won’t do that and I get it. To most people, it’s just a random leisure and they don’t take it seriously which is also understandable in a way.
It would take a lot of solidarity from people to win against those corporations and we lack that 'cause we’re too busy fighting each other because of our differences (just look at how controversial a simple Pride event gets on these forums).
Also, some people are fine with PVE being canceled or being lied to for years as they don’t value this game that much (I guess their priorities is IRL and why would we judge that).
It’s too early for random people like us to get together and fight those extremely capitalistic companies (not just in the gaming industry). They haven’t crossed a certain line just yet for us to get a wake-up call. In the meantime, they will keep taking more from us until the one bad move that will be the final straw to users.
That day will be epic as we all know how powerful an uprising can be.
This won’t last forever. I don’t mind them thinking they have the upper-hand for now. Each day that goes by, more people realize they are being used. It’ll get ugly when they’ve had enough.

That would make sense if I was paying them, but I’m not. I quit in season 2 because it got boring and I was waiting for the PvE, now I’m going to uninstall and probably never play again.
I just hope the Activision stock gets a slight hit so I can buy more, this fandom is very gullible.
The obvious choice is to uninstall and never support this company again, but for every intelligent person who does that, five idiots who will buy every 27% off bundle will remain and keep pumping them dollars lol
The PVP had already become dogwater, so PVE was all a lot of people were looking forward to. I’m at least kinda glad the only reason I planned to ever reinstall this schlock is dead and gone though. It’s been real (mediocre to terrible) OW! 
I mean cosmetics can only carry your game so far. Season 5 already looks like a waste of time with zero new content.
If complaints mean nothing, I wonder how the battlefield/battlefront franchises ended up irrelevant?
I’m proud to say that I haven’t bought a thing for this game. Other than Overwatch 1. Give me back the old game.
You know what, A few years ago I would agree with you today no. I am so sick of these companies thinking that my money is already theirs because they exist, no it isn’t! They are not getting another dime from me. I don’t care how many skins they come out with, I don’t care how many battle passes they release, I’m done! The only way I’m going to get to change that I seek is by speaking with my wallet, you’re right about one thing getting angry and not doing anything about it is a waste of time. So i’m gonna speak with my dollars if blizzard wants to halfass, let’em… They can halfass until the end of time! I’m not giving blizzard any money for a sub par water down version of the archives, or junkenstien or whatever they limp out of the barn with, I don’t care anymore. This is nonsense, I’m not gonna sit here anymore and make excuses for this company I’m done.

This. Speak with your $$$. I will not be buying battle pass, nor any skins, just as I haven’t been. I will not spend money on this game until they give us back all the features removed from OW1 to bring us OW2 (and yes that includes 6v6).
