Simple…start watching your kill cams. You will be amazed how many people are cheating in your games. The reason this issue persists is bc this community has gaslit itself into believing people dont cheat bc “its just qp” or “in qp really” or “check my stats”. We have been down this road for 8 years. If you want this crap to change you need to force blizzards hand on this issue.

I feel you. The issue is getting to a tipping point I think.
Literally nearly every game now, either someone on my team or the other is cheating. Literal. Ly.
There are many shills here, as you’d come to expect of those who deceive on the reg. They will literally do anything to keep it under the rug as much as possible. And lately, there is a good reason.
It’s like the announcement of the 500k ban gave way to even more cheaters. And they are trying to come back, but as sneaky as possible.
Awareness will be its end. And the more we don’t call it like it is, the more power we give to the cheaters.
As these things go, expect this thread to fall off and get buried/derailed. The shills really don’t like this stuff up top.

The big problem is. Its like sports and steroids. Almost everyone uses them and nobody learns to get by without them.
I mean just look at how much the sponsors in the Olympics dump into “detection free” steroids and how much they get away with it.
Same with Overwatch and any online game. The amount of blatant cheating commonly known as “aim assist” is being so heavily used its just pointless anymore to play player vs player games.
I know I will hear some stupid “get gud noob” thing posted, and its like… do a fresh install on windows, wipe the OS and load just the game without all the fancy mods, macros, and tools, and then lets talk.

there’s a code, (red team, dps, venture, round 3 I believe is just more visible of at minimum wall hacks and possible soft aim locking but you be the judge. (the person go’s venture last round and it looks way more visible imo) At one point you can even see them shoot at a mei behind a wall that they can’t even see right on their hit box…
I haven’t ran into many “rage hackers lately” like spin botting, etc but more so people using walls, soft aim lock and other methods.

True, this community is in hardcore denial about the cheating issue, they would rather accept that they regularly encounter top100* superpros in their metal rank games than the fact that they are just constantly playing against cheaters.
Of course the usual forum dwellers with 10 alts each are doing a lot of damage control and gaslighting here, but still the amount of copium being consumed in the forums and in game is unreal. “B-but cheaters are sooo hard to detect.” Literally just takes 1-2 killcams and you know. Often you don’t even need killcams, if you see that your teammates are dropping like flies from the start while their positioning is decent you know something is up.
If enemy dps did 20-30k damage on hitscan without being boosted, nano’d before you even get to the middle of round 2 you know that they are probably cheating. If your entire team is hardcountered from the start especially your tank you know that they are probably cheating. If they suck azz the entire match then switch to cassidy and start hitting every head even from widow’s range you know that they toggled their ragehacks.
Based on my experience there is at least one soft cheater in almost every QP or comp game and by soft cheater I mean using wallhacks, triggerbot, aim assist or very smooth non-obvious aimbot.
This game is already dying because of cheaters, if this continues it will soon be a HvH abandonware, like tf2 or worse.

The worse is almost all of the cheater are lousy mouth and keep barking this ez that ez to gain public attention about cheat suspicious. Make sure you say about this in match chat to have people help you spam cheat report to have the person get ban.
This has been the biggest issue honestly. I see less spin botting and way more walling in my games. The subtle micro corrections that people dont see. Its all over the place. Wall hacks and soft locks have become the new norm. But like I said…imagine how bad it would be if the anti cheat didnt work
Overwatch now saves the last 50 something games. So there should be no problem giving us some replay codes of the many cheaters you’ve encountered
Case in point someone a few replies below just wrote a mini-essay on how cheaters are so prevalent everywhere that even the streamers can see them but also cheaters are so super secret and undetectable to mere mortals that no one on the forums could possibly know (except them and anyone who agrees with them I guess). And even better, they didn’t link a single code or even a streamer. 
Im gonna be blunt here, 99% of these are skill issues. There’s always someone better than you, no matter your rank.

Seen an echo wallhack in MH and someone spin botting on a Zarya in MH as well (they hit noone cause you know, close range weapon but they acted as if they were suddenly having mouse issues)

Yep. Especially in the current meta of hitscan + monkey/dva trash it’s veryyy easy to see.
Ah, the ol’ “everyones hacking, thats why i get dunked on every game” thread again. Been playing since the game came out and have yet to see all these hackers… BOY HOW LUCKY AM I?!?

If you can detect a cheat from watching a replay it’s a bad cheat.

I love when you post replay codes, they ignore them and just try and bash people but don’t realize they are actually more prevalent than ever even streamers are acknowledging how bad it’s gotten but no some random person on the forum’s knows better about hackers rolls eyes dude I’ve been around long enough playing fps games to know when someone is hacking and what to look for. I don’t normally call someone out unless I notice suspicious stuff, If I get beat fair and square I get beat fair and square but when I see a widow micro adjusting mid fall to me constantly like its locking onto me and it’s literally almost humanly impossible I’m kind of suspicious especially when I check their profile and they aren’t even diamond or even hit masters once. The fact I see a gold player all of a sudden after getting destroy a round now hit every single shot and know someone’s positioning even before they pop out of a wall, I think it’s pretty obvious their ego got hurt and they turned something on to get an advantage because they can’t even take a loss in QP… you act like hacking isn’t happening when it is, and it is way more prevalent than ever before in multiple games.
The fact streamers acknowledge it more so than people on the forums just is crazy because it means some people on here are either trying to gas light people and make them feel like crap which is like ??? why?? what’s the point even other than probably trying to protect self-interests or the fact they may be doing it themselves, or even some other stuff.

In GM there’s like 5-10% confirmed cheaters in each role every season. With that spread and 3 roles per game you are almost guaranteed to have a cheater in a lobby of 10 players eveery single game.

I wouldn’t even say every game, But it’s a lot more than before the game was f2p for sure…
I’m just talking statistics. In top 500 historically every season has had around 5-10% of each role being a confirmed cheater. In a scenario where 10% of players are confirmed cheating and there’s 10 players per game in that SR, each game is statistically like to have a cheater in it.
I try not to be cynical and think that way. I just notice people with extremely weird aim that looks like aimbotting and that looks like they are walling. I don’t keep track of numbers, I just know they are getting way more prevalent.

i had a obviously cheating widow in one match on dorado my team ended up iving up trying honsly if cehaters was forced to spend time in prison with no parole things would be better
