They didn’t though. She currently has a 30% movement speed reduction while firing, identical to Reinhardt’s penalty from holding up his shield.
D.Va’s movement speed buff while firing is the only one not to go live in its full glory, splitting the difference between the old 50% and the tested 30% with the 40% we have now.

My bad, it wasn’t similar, it was actually faster. She had a 20% movement penalty.
You’re ignoring that all the nerfs took away her effectiveness. Also, everyone else keeps saying Brig is good in GM only. Not freakin’ Gold.
Heck, old Brig was able to get through the ranks. But not nerfed to death Brig.
Her effectiveness keeps getting taken away, and the literal 1% of the playerbase, 1% out of a few million is further proof she’s dead.
