Reaper has never been a hard counter to good Hogs. He’s one of the go-to picks because he can punish Hog mistakes or misplays more easily. And I don’t know what buff you would give him to make him better at that aside from more damage, which he doesn’t need.

Just decrease Roadhogs damage by a lot. There is no reason he should one shot his counter. There is no reason a tank should one shot anything except maybe Tracer.

Or, you could buff torb, who also deals with roadhog pretty well.

Nothing will change until hook no longer guarantees an instant kill.

Use Ana and Mei. But I would agree that Reaper needs some love. His buff is in the refrigerator and the balance team needs to retrieve it.

I hate Roadhog because his hook has too long range.

It’s actually not the damage that makes roadhog annoying.
It’s that he can be both a tank and a selfish healer.
Even when he miss his hook he can still stay rather safe with his own healing.
Were we not trying to get rid of hybrid classes when we deleted Brig tanking potential?
Yet roadhog’s healing is even stronger than some healers.

I don’t hate Hog, he is crazy fun tbh.
Reaper has never really countered Hog because Hog is a walking instant death radius for any non-tank hero. Hog literally counters Reaper, be it by oneshotting him if he tries to flank or peeling him off his team mid blossom.
Reaper needs literally a pocket tank or support to not instantly die to Hog’s Totally Healthy Oneshot Combo.
