This is probably the worst I’ve seen, though four leavers is not uncommon.
Note to the forum moderators: This is NOT self-promotion. I am not a “streamer”. This is to show the community an example of extreme leavers.

5 leavers is no worse than 2 leavers, or really even 1 leaver. After a single leaver and the teamer goes up, I regularly see all but 1 or 2 of the team leave, because why wouldn’t you? What do you gain from sitting there for several minutes, lowering your stats, and losing the same amount of SR anyways. You could just be queuing again instead.
But…but…they get penalized 10 minutes!
Only if they leave before the timer is up. You don’t get penalized after the (2 minutes?) timer.
Dude, congratulation, you finally won game in 5 years of playing ow.
As I’ve said a million times, that’s not winning.
I see victory at the end so you are wrong.
If my team will totaly crush enemy team to make them leave, its winning, it doesnt matter if they had leavers or not after that for example.
yeah but it’s just not the type of win someone would want.
Wow, you’re not willing to have any kind of rational conversation. Oh well.
Also, you always want to quote my “wins” from the stats web page, but understand those are all the aberrations, like this game. I’ve lost 20x to 100x that many games, and those are the ones I’ve been talking about. I wish they’d post those stats too so you could see.
Competitive is about climbing ranks, any kind of win is good in that regard.
But I’ve never been talking about climbing ranks, I’ve always been talking about getting FAIR MATCHES and how the matchmaker is BROKEN because it won’t provide those.
Your best shot is to get a new account. You get mmr reset and a fresh start. Elo hell is still real and difficult to get out of
A perfect example of why Blizzard need to add backfill to Competitive.
Backfill will never happen. There’s just too many flaws to it
It will not help him, he is not willing to change, not willing to listen tips, not willing to implement them, he likes to say how bad he is. Any kind of win for him is unfair. Read his older posts and you will understand.
No.
Do not do this.
You will only be contributing to the problem of too many alternate accounts in game which has utterly destroyed the matchmaker’s ability to provide an actual fair and balanced match-up.
It would need some tweaking to fit with how Competitive works but that’s easy done by Blizzard.
It needs to happen.
It’s unconscionable and unacceptable that Blizzard leave a team in Competitive, arguably the most important game mode, to be 1 or more players down against a full strength opposing team when they have a system in game in other modes capable of preventing that from happening.
Backfill would solve the issue of leavers once and for all.
Its been happening since the start of overwatch and all you can do is deal with it. The leaver might be on your team or the other team, which evens it out. I haven’t seen a leaver in my game for a long time. Does it happen in other ranks a lot?
Wow, now who’s lying Xion? I’ve listened to every bit of advice I’ve ever received and implemented as much as I am able. I very much WANT to improve and have been trying since beta – I’ve just utterly failed at it. So yes I’m a horrible player and I can’t seem to improve, but how dare you say I’ve not been trying.
I would also suggest you spend some time in quick play and try out new heroes. If you main the same hero for several seasons with little progression, that hero may not be the best for you. I tried ashe in quick play and I got my dps from 2400 to 3000(Peak)
