People seemed to hate her but if she was just simply moved to another role, would people say that her annoying playstyle is fine?
of course she may need to be slightly thiccer and have more hp!

I think OWL wouldn’t mind it, because her main power there is that she’s a “Third Tank”.

nope. moving her to tank would fix a lot of her problems considering she is already used as 3rd tank. she would essentially be a roadhog-like tank who is good at punishing.
she wouldn’t be meta as tank, and would probably pair primarily with rein (like zarya). You could pull off some crazy rein+mei+sym strats with a mei-tank too.

She’d have to be scaled up a bit in the HP department to be a tank.

Why would it matter if she was a tank ? She’d still be the devil incarnate.
Short range primary?
High sustain?
Used for defense, push, and setting up plays?
Mei would make an amazing tank. She should be transferred immedately and buffed accordingly. Somebody get me 30 tons of ramen.

Prob not… She had insane area denial and map control…
She wasn’t meta in goats bc the only thing that could add more value than her was another tank… But then again there was some Mei goats that was played here and there…
The only way that she won’t be meta as a dps right now is they take away alot of her area control… Which is kinda counter Intuitive bc I would assume of you enjoy playing Mei controlling the map is what drew you to her
I don’t really complain about Mei. I think her counter play is well understood.

I don’t complain about Mei, and I’ve never really agreed with the majority of complaints others have brought forth about her.
which is sad because freeze isn’t even the worse form of cc in the game it takes time unlike other instance cc.

I wouldn’t like her then, either. Any hero who’s primary function is freezing you and forcing you to lose control of your hero is yucky. Just the nature of her primary function is what doesn’t fly with me, even if it’s easy to counter her.

Inara is a tank in paladins, that was a wall like Mei’s but completely different other abilities and the community loves her.
No freeze gun though.

Mei is not a tank and never will be.
They wouldnt. If she was a tank we wouldnt even have issues like this to begin with. She is played as a third tank and whenever she is in on enemy team their sustain become 2 times better.

think if u reduce the damage then yea. put some competition in the tank category. give zarya competition. competition is always good.
