Due to the low impact this match has I will be taking a much needed nap. So no scoreboard updates this time around. Here are the group stage standings however. I will return for the Japan vs. South Korea match however… unless I fall into a coma.

Meanwhile I’ve only just woken up having missed the previous 3 games, though I have places to be so will end up missing all games in Day 2.

Glad to see Finland kept their hopes alive.

Oooh Winston/Dva/Tracer/Ana/Zen/Moira, reminds me of the Winston/Dva/Tracer/Ana/Zen/Lucio comp that was a niche thing in apex.

brb nostalgia tripping

Taipei look far superior to Hong Kong, the 4-0 they realistically need to have any hope of moving up the table is likely

Is Chinese Tapei a country? :confused: OH WAIT. Is it Taiwan?

It will always be Taiwan to me not Chinese Taipei. Why cuddle up to China by changing a countries name.

Man, I love Jake’s shirt, straight from Semmler’s wardrobe

The gap between Taipei and Hong Kong is so large. It’s like:

SK and Finland = OWL playoffs
Russia = OWL midtable
Japan = Top Contenders/OWL Expansion
Taipei = Midtable Contenders
Hong Kong = Open Division, 6 solos

And there’s the 4-0, keeping Taipei technically still alive

Next thread is open:

I think I will sleep that one off as well. Catch the VOD in the morning! See all of you later!

south korea will win who cares

Chinese Taipei mathmatically remains alive, though require miracles to even have a chance to stay in consideration:
