When the only counter to widowmaker is herself missing, what are you supposed to do against a widow with 77% headshot accuracy? Even a winston diving has a 50% chance to get double consecutive headshots to their face before they even land on that widow, and then they have to hope the widow is isolated and not in the pocket widow position where the whole team protects the widow due to her instakill power.

Have you ever tried to play BarrierWatch? Or surprise her with another Widow… if you can hit ofc.
You could also try Sombra if she doesn’t have vision as you can easily sneak behind her and kill her fast enough so she doesn’t react in time.
There are counters, you just don’t want to look for them.

77% headshot accuracy from a Widow means they only shoot heads and never go for bodyshots, nor do they shoot to weaken barriers.
They pad their stats and care more about their Widow status, than they do about actually dealing damage.
Pick tanks. Barriers mostly.

No widow will have anywhere near 77% crit accuracy. Maybe if they had like 2 mins played then sure, but no1 not cheating would be able to keep that up, even the pros sit at low 20s or high teens on the ladder.

You can’t hit her clean on, for some of the angles she can hide. I don’t usually lose to lone Widowmaker if I catch her from the side, so perhaps you could evaluate how you attack her in the future.
Top 500 Widows have like 20-22%

Nah people with 30% are the pros. I remember 1 player being called out for having 30%, which later turned out to be one of the korean pro players.

For one no youre not facign widows with 77% HS accuracy thats hacking lol, and if they are not I dont care they deserve to stomp you because that is absolutely the definition of popping off my doggie. Secondly your team had to enable that, counter with shields you know, brigitte, rein, orisa , then dive even though a certain character completely nullifies it… also winston is super easy to not get HS, heres what you do it only works on the only way this game should be played I mean pc, you 180 as you jump to hide your head then turn back to punch her and shock her very easy. But again youre using hyperbole because you dont like Widowmaker I get it she takes skill and shuts down games just dont lie to try and prove a non existent point. Thanks have a NIce day my dude

Anywho, if I can sneak up behind a Widow as Lucio and kill her before she can escape anthing is possible!
(For real though. Many Widow players crumple when being dived unless they’re super mega confident. Even then, if you’re Winston… don’t Dive the Widow without bubble. Jump in, bubble, dance in and out of it. She’ll likely run away, as shooting at you is a terrible idea.)

Ok heres an idea I know im not the best Widow but in 60 hours i have never had above 39% crit ratio and that was a BONKERs game, in fact I dont think I have ever seen anyone with a 50% crit ratio, 77% is hard enough for hitting regular shots, no one has 77% crit ratio its literally hacking not doubting what people can do

Just because she might be off meta or buggy or anything. It doesn’t mean she’s not a counter.
Question: Is Crit ratio the same/on a similar level as scoped accuracy? Just cause I got confused. I was thinking scoped accuracy…
(EDIT: Answered my own question. Scoped is just how many shots you hit, crit is headshots. Yeah, if its 77~ that’s probably a hacker…)

If you’re close enough to unload into her head, she’ll hear you decloak - if she really is a good player. And even if she doesn’t hear you, it’s not impossible for her reactions to be good enough to prevent the easy oneclip
Pro widowmakers are lucky to have over 25% crit accuracy. Only blatant hackers get over 35%.
