My Widow crit percent on console is 14% and only considered top 18% on Overbuff, but there are smurfs all over that site skewing stats.

I figure 15%+ would be top 10%.

77% crit accuracy?! That’s surely either someone who has barely played Widow or an aimbot? Sayaplayer got accused of botting by xqc (not knowing it was Saya) when he had 31% crit accuracy, if that’s legit then that’s insane

Report them. If there’s a Widowmaker with a significant amount of playtime averaging 77% crit accuracy they’re cheating. Best Widows in the game, including pros, sit between 15-25%.

The problem is that doesn’t allow me to win the game even if they are cheating, and they’re probably legit anyways (seriously, nearly every widow I’ve seen is able to consistently land a full charge headshot at close range to delete me if I’m playing a flanker or close range DPS hero and engage at close range).

I have 16% critical percentage and that reads as top 5%. So it seems to jump like crazy the higher you go.

Match statistics from OWL are a limited pool of statistics and do not actually represent career crit accuracy.

Based on confirmed account play;

  • LiNkzr only has a 22% crit accuracy.

  • Taimou 22%

  • Effect 21%

  • aKm 18.3%

  • babybay 14.4%

  • iddqd 17%

  • SoOn 18%

  • Kephrii (even if not an OWL pro) was, at one point, one of the highest crit accuracy players with a 26% (circa S5), but has since dropped to 19% accuracy.

choose D’Va, find the widow, put up DM, booster rocket in, as getting close (with DM still up) fire missles so they take all of them to the face before you get close enough for splash damage, land in front of them and open up with fusion cannons until they die or grapple away, rinse repeat and hopefully catch them in a hallway where they can’t grapple out or grapple on cooldown.
Dead widow.

Saya was ranking up one of his alt accounts, and bumped into Xqc at 31% crit rate. He’s the one that went above 30% and got accused of botting as a result

Brigitte is annoying (much like Widow) but moves so slow that she is easy to take out (plus if you have a half decent hanzo or widow on your team her shield disappears constantly)

lol. Yeah Brigette moves slowly, cool. She is also immune to damage if she has half a brain. Cracking a 600HP shield isn’t easy and a tremendous waste of energy when she’ll just duck out for two seconds and get a full recharge.

Update: Just checked what Saya’s current crit accuracy on that account (Kannagang) is: still up at 29%, and in top 500 (4512SR)

Again, alt accounts only contribute a fraction of the actual lifetime statistics for crit accuracy.

sayaplayer’s career crit accuracy (on his main account) is only 23%, and that’s 10 seasons worth of stats.

An alt account barely scratches 1-2 seasons worth of stats, just on account of the alt having much less playtime.

That 30% only adjusts his career average up to 24.4%, from an existing 23%. And that’s being generous.

It is important to note that the number is going to be higher depending on how long you play with lesser players and whatnot. I am in platinum (albeit, getting real close to my precious diamond), so it is easier to hit heads. I have watched a lot of high level Widow play where people are crouch spamming to avoid headshots. Nobody does that in platinum.

And the same applies to OWL. That is the highest level of play where everyone is trying to actively avoid the Widow. Headshot accuracy might be lower (or higher if they are well protected as opposed to fending for themselves) because of that. On my main (this one) my critical accuracy is so low at about 9% because this was the account I learned Widow on. Stats fluctuate and are not really indicative of what will happen in a game. I have gone on a few irregular headshot streaks that honestly look like I am cheating and I have missed the easiest target multiple times. It happens. Stats are just that lifetime number that takes everything into account to give you a good idea of what you MIGHT run into.

If a Widow had a 77% headshot acc. then they either boost there stats or deserve to be as good as they are. A hero isn’t OP because the player is really good, and a hero definitely doesn’t deserve to be nerfed because the person player her is a god. Thats on you if you can’t beat them in a 1v1

definitely a widow with 77% accuracy is a god and deserves wins. That being said DM still negates those headshots so even against that puny god my strategy up higher will work (as a D’Va one trick I literally hunt down widows to make their life difficult)
