I have no idea why I am seeing people saying that Widow doesnt need a nerf, I think they’re AI. Anyways, I assume that Widow is this overpowered because Blizzard cares about money more that balancing. Hanzo is also overpowered too. One shots dont belong in overwatch and i feel like many would agree with me.

ok leave Rein’s pin but give Widow/Hanzo headshot a 1-2 second window where a LW can grip them, Zarya can bubble them, Kiri suzu.

The pin one shot is the way it is because Rein is a tank

Its amazing how stupid people are when comming up with excuses… Reins pin is:
- On a cooldown
- You hear it comming
- You see it comming
- There are abilities that you can avoid damage or stop the charge
- It puts Rein at a risk
- Its mega telegraphed
So try again pls.

Gotta love the mental gymnastics required to justify a hitscan one shot from accross the map that’s not telegraphed by comparing it to a tank yeeting himself at you on a 6s cooldown

Compare Rein to Widow and the literal only things Widow has that are better than Rein is her one shot attack and the ability to move up. Rein has more health, better team utility, more damage, more frequent mobility, no ammo, like it’s not a contest.
Rein’s one shot is inconsistent because he’s otherwise a much better character.

Why? Why is Widow unfair? Just because she one shots? Have you even played the character?
Because of the frequency she one-shots hero and how to counter this kind of “ability” of her. Do I really have to say this?
If it would be the ult only I would have no problems. If it would be an ability, I also would have no problem. But its her basic freaking attack.

They’ve removed or limited most of the one shots with no drawbacks.
Hanzo is on a projectile
Sojourn lost hers
Sigma lost his
Hog didn’t really lose his because trap pretty much allows you to still one shot but it’s not as easy anymore and hook isn’t a hitscan instant thing you can still bubble grip suzu, and iirc you can still use defensive CDs before you get shot but I haven’t played hog in a minute I’m actually not completely sure that is the case.
Widows one shot is supposed to be limited by how squishy she is and by the fact that her one shot is all she does, but those have proven to not be significant enough drawbacks.

I dont think anyone is denying widow needs nerfs, what people refute is people who hate her using this as a oppurtunity to remove her one shot primary.
what she needs is
- revert aimbox to pre s9
- fall off revert to 40 mtr
- this is optional and if needed 25 hp nerf
Most widow players would agree to two of that.
The issue is when people want to remove a heroes primary.

Widow vs Hanzo as a measurement is hilarious. Hanzo is mid, and Widow is damn near a must pick on a lot of maps right now.
