it got flagged because who wants to see a post parroting the same things mercy mains have spammed the forums with, about the same hero preaching the same ideas & thoughts of the hero, and its an obvious alt account.

Not even close. Never played with mass res. Donât care for it one way or the other.
Valkyrieâs issues stand on their own.
I love Mercy overall, sheâs likely my second favorite character in the game. Valkyrie is just the crap cherry atop a great cake.

Balanced? Yes.
Fun and engaging? She falls short.
You have nothing to lose if Mercy is changed to be more fun and engaging. Literally nothing. You would still be able to play play her the way you always do, the only difference is that there would be more ways to play her.

No one is forcing anyone to play a hero they do not wish to play, unless you are playing one of the âmysteryâ game modes, like Mystery heroes
easy to play, I agree, but then again, to me, any hero is easy to play

You dont have to. There are over 2 dozen other heroes to choose from
Mercy carries a pistol, her staff and pistol can both be used for melee, and damage boost helps kill enemies. One does not have to play Mercy as a pacificist- and Iâd argue, a good Mercy player uses all of her kit.
If one does choose to play Mercy as a pacifist (eschewing use of melee, pistol fire, and damage boost), thats not a Mercy problem, thats a player problem.

Real also means genuine and not artificial. This person, in this context, is saying that they would like Mercy to have an ult. that is worthy of the status. While you find current Valk. to be real (genuine and not artificial), this person does not. Youâre right that Mercy has a real (actually existing) ult., but it appears that you misinterpreted their use of the word.

Blizzard defines what an ultimate is for each character and for Mercy, that ultimate is called Valkyrie

Yes, i do have to play the stronger, consistent, fool proof super mobile support option if sheâs better for even the people at the top.
Which sheâs not currenty, and iâd like to keep it that way. I mean, ideally i wouldnât have her in the game at all so that people would stop insisting on this mindless drone of a character to be strong at the top.

Mass resurrection is not as engaging as Valkyrie in my opinion.
While I donât want her changed because she could become a hero I donât like, Iâm not necessarily opposed to her being changed again. Honestly I wouldnât mind if resurrection was deleted
I, however, really enjoy Valkyrie and want something like that to remain in her kit.

New Mercy is balanced and more fun than Old Mercy. But still not as fun/flexible as she could be.
If they did change her itâd be swapping Solo Rez/Valk so Solo Rez could be more flexible as a fast charging Ult and Valk can be used to save herself/more utility/be a part time AoE healer. Though itâs not a necessary change since she is already pretty damn balanced - itâd just be a functionality/fun change.

There are many anti-Mercy folks stating in these forums that they dont even play the game anymore because of Mercyâs first rework. Some others dont play Mercy anymore, same as I dont play Torb anymore since his rework. Given that, and how horrendous (in my opinion) all recent reworks have been, I find it likely that any rework to Mercy will alienate those of us who do like her as she is now, and at the same time not make her any better in the eyes of those who left the game over the original rework
It is possible that a rework may improve her, but I make such a statement in the same way that Iâd say it is possible I might get hit by a meteor or win the lottery.
I prefer the latter, btw

There is an interpretation of the word as there is more than one definition for the word. If there was only one, there would be no room for interpretation because the word would mean one thing and one thing alone. As it stands, there are two definitions.
Correct. The person you were replying to was not questioning or doubting the factual representation of Mercy having an ultimate. The person was using the second definition of the word âreallyâ to express that they do not find the current ultimate Blizzard has given Mercy to be substantial enough to be called an ultimate.
And people say Mercy mains flag a lot.
I get that the topic is controversial, but really? Pretty sure there is nothing breaking CoC in the OP.

This is part of what I mean when I said you have nothing to lose. Valkyrie can work as an E with the right tuning, and youâd be able to use it more than ever. Both sides would be happy!
