Why is flash on a 10sec cooldown when bash is 7sec?

Because McCree is from the older age of hero design when everything wasn’t designed to give the hero every advantage?

If McCree was designed this year, he’d have no falloff damage, i-frames when he rolled, and flash would probably be on a 6s cooldown. After multiple nerfs.

Because Flash has longer range, is an AoE, has two ways to kill the stunned target, and McCree isn’t a melee hero.

Because… Balance.
Originaly, heroes had 8 to 10 sec cds. New heroes and reworked ones have 4 to 7. Also brigeta was the most broken hero ever. Intentionally thought, they wanted to kill dive in a week. They killed the game instead lol.

It has a tiny range, a tiny AOE, and Brig has a far easier time securing kills than McCree does.

It is thrown 5 meters with a 2 meter AOE, making it 7 meters in a direction. It’s still AoE, 2meters being greater than the 0 of Brigitte’s bash. Brigitte doesn’t kill anything with her combo if it has more than 150 HP.

McCree can 2 shot most people is probably why and anything with 250 or less HP that gets stunned by him can be easily fan the hammer’d.

Which is it’s own issue, and even then you can escape from Brigitte by use of her combo. If you move away from Brigitte during her combo, her whip shot sends you flying back.

So brig should have a longer stun and a lower cool down because SHE could knock you out of her range by using her ability yeah make total sense

I think it’s funny people worry about a hero with a gun that can head shot for almost as much as Brig’s complete combo, A combo that puts all her abilities on cool down does what 165 dmg? Thats barely two bullets for Mcree.

It’s an obvious balance point in Mcree’s favor that he can convert those stuns into kill while Brig generally cant, he can also do that from 7m+ away, while she has to push forward to do so.

If anything Mcree’s kit is getting better by the month as Brig’s cool down and hit box keeps shrinking. She’s already at 7 seconds CD, once she hits 8 it might as well be 10 at that point. A once in an encounter ability.

I get what you guys are saying, but McCree is in a terrible position right now, worst winrate in the game in GM. And Brig is generally hated by everyone. So… yeah, she’s probably too good, and he’s probably not good enough.

Because flash can guarantee a kill on anyone under 250hp. This coming from a cree main, flash needs be made more consistent not used more often.

In which universe does a cowboy have access to a flashbang grenade. Flashbangs don’t even stun, they blind and affect hearing. Stun grenades are what actually stun people. If anyone should have a flashbang it should be soldier, and not the flashbang that blizzard thinks is a stun grenade, an actual flashbang
