Then I remember often being only player on payload, and agree to have that in game, despite obvious potential for trolling.
Your Reinhardt wants to rush in? Pull him back, it’s team game, and team needs their shield. Can play “pull a teammate” with enemy Roadhog, saving your teammate from his combo. Could really use something to keep teammates from charging in one by one.
You could also use it to pull team mates off a ledge with you.
Is it weird, that I find it a lot more useful, than Pacify?
Why try to reduce damage on teammate, when you can pull one out of harm’s way, just like GA allows you to get out of harm’s way.
I was actually referring to taking a team mate with you when someone boops you off a cliff or down Illios’ well.
At any rate, such an ability will be endlessly annoying for the person on the receiving end.
If your teammate lacks any self-preservation, should you:
- allow them to die, which usually ends in lost game;
- use very annoying ability to keep them from going suicidal;
Nothing annoys me more, than watching my teammate dying. Would also be thankful, if teammate gets me out of dangerous spot, despite my attempts to stay there and die.
I’d let them die. If that causes the loss, then it was a hopeless endeavor, anyway.
That ‘very annoying ability’ is why people complain about Doomfist or Brigitte; The single most frustrating thing in a video game, is to have control over your character being taken away. This includes CC, non-skippable cutscenes, etc.
This is called Life Grip in WoW and as much as it can be fun and useful, I would never put it in OW. People have been pulled into their deaths before. They have actually added things where you can be immune to such abilities for a period of time because of problems like this. And I definitely wouldn’t trust the OW community to abuse it to high heaven.
They didn’t remove teleport from Symmetra, and you still can place it near cliff for teammates to fall.
That doesn’t mean they should put an ability like this in OW.

Yes, I agree. And I don’t think it’s the easiest to explain why this would not be widely accepted since it’s using it on a teammate and not an enemy. So you feel like it’s more helpful than harmful, which it can be in the right hands, but I would hate for people to tell me where they think I should be, especially in a faster paced game like OW.
I would assume his awareness has improved greatly, because that’s something very important for D.Va players, to protect the supports with DM
Why of all people would you use Fissure for a point about Rein?! Rein is his weakest MT, the “official” reason that was given for his playoff escapades was that iRemiix was a better Rein, whether you believe it or not. Why would you use Fissure as the example when you could’ve gone for a Rein specialist like Fragi?
In Bronze I’d rather have literally any other support solo healing me than those 2,even Zen. Bronze Ana’s can’t aim, bronze Mercy’s struggle with GA, and will often carry on “healing” someone with full health, without switching to damage boost, and not notice others need healing until it’s too late.
I could maintain myself at low to mid plat, it a bit more challenging which feels like genuine competitive cause I have been there on an alt and my main, even as a solo but the problem is as YourOverwatch pointed out.
The lack of motivation to take comp seriously, it goes beyond just casual fun and straight into trolling/sabotage whether it is intentional or unintentional.
Which ends up creating this horrible bouncing up and down the ranks as you make no genuine progress
Like skill wise I have made progress this is evident in arcade modes where genuine individuality counts like FFA Death Match and I can higher ranks than my main comp ranks
Even in QP I can perform better than comp because I’m not having to fill or feel the need to fill because try hard dps are just unflexible

Yeah. I’ve noticed. One day I work my way back into Plat, and the next, I’ve been beaten all the way into mid-Gold again.
Just edited my comment and yes I’m not sure if the system is against climbing because I climb where I get really good, balance and equally match games then I drop like a rock because the next 5 to 10 matches the next day are horrific match make
It supposed to give you 50% win rate, but it’s not instant in adjusting, so it won’t be win/loss/win/loss. If one day you been winning round after round, matchmaking detects it as anomaly and will give you a bad time to fix your win rate back to 50%.
