Everybody knows she’s extremely strong.

Top 3 in what elo? and where do you get your evidence from.
You missed that she is probably one of the reasons tank players quit or go to another role. She was for me.
Considering they understand that the tank role is pretty miserable and it’s hard to retain players for tank, it’s amazes me they have never even considered sorting Ana out to make games a lot less frustrating to play as half the tank roster.
Even more amazing is the way they released a brand-new tank, Mauga, for which Ana was a hard counter, having to make him stupid OP on launch just so he could be playable at all into Ana. Now he’s in the same situation as Hog that if they buff him and he gets into a game without Ana against him then he is OP, but if they nerf him he has zero chance in a game against Ana.

I was top500 before the tank reset. Personally, I love going against ana. She is way too easy to kill and just doesn’t put out the numbers other supports do with half the effort. The only time Ana is strong is when the person playing her is completely fragging out

Don’t worry, I also left because of her too. When I came back to OW for the perks I was actually having fun on tank and then Ana happened and I was like “yep back to MR”.
I’ve always thought this too, I actually want to play tank, but Ana makes me not want to, it’s one of the reasons I have no regrets swapping to MR.
Surely, you wouldn’t mind posting some replays so we can see this amazing top 500 absolutely dominate Ana, no?
Also, I’m still correct. If you check the top 500 leader boards she’s literally all over it like I said.
So, you’re wrong when you say she’s not in the top 3.

Only because she is fun to play, doesn’t mean she’s good in any way.
Baptiste, Juno , and brig are all 10 times more powerful then Ana currently

No. You go play Ana yourself and tell me what your experience is. If you want to put Ana at the 3rd best support, fine, but to act like she even comes close to Bap or Juno is just straight up delusional

Just to be clear. In YOUR world, Ana is in the top 3 most played for MANY t500 players.
But it’s not because she’s strong, no. Even though she dominates the t500 leaderboard, no it’s not because she’s good.
It’s because she’s actually weak. But even though she’s so weak, all these t500 players refuse to stop playing her, because she’s fun.
All hundreds of them.
And in MY world.
Ana dominates the t500 leaderboard like she does, because she’s strong.
Which one makes more logical sense?
1 person one tricking junkrat to t500 isn’t the same statistically as a large number of people having ana in their top 3 in t500.
The fact that only 1 person one tricks them is evidence that Junkrat isn’t a good pick.
The fact that a lot of people play Ana, is evidence that she is a good pick.
I’m still waiting for those t500 replays btw of you absolutely OWNING Ana.

having only 1 tank this got put in the spotlights even…
it’s not ana that made me quit playing tank though… for me it’s just that i don’t like the pressure of being the only tank and can easily be shut down if my team loses focus on ana
Top 500 is dominated by whatever the strongest character is, most of the leaderboard is comprised of meta slaves.
If Ana is the most played support, then she’s the strongest support.

Did you just notice that there are heroes that are almost never allowed to be bad? Like - Tracer, Ana, Soj and Co? And there are heroes that are almost never allowed to be good? Like - Sym, Junk and Co?

Why on earth would you ever want Sym to be good?
What kind of game state do you think that would lead to?
Would it be very interactive? Would it be very fun for everyone not playing Sym to die to turrets?
Sym’s kit is one that she never can be good, if you want her to be good, she needs a rework.
She’s fine where she is for her design, she has her niches, she has her spots she’s valuable in.
Man… Are you really saying this? Do me a favor; open the competitive leaderboards and tell me what you see… Ana, Kiri, Juno 90% of the time, right?
That surely means that those 3 characters are super fun to use, and not that they have something in common… like… Idk… They are really strong?
