Why do you still play?

For me it’s because OW2 is the only real arena shooter with a playerbase left. The other big MP shooters are either battle royale or CSGO clones. I play it by default. Not because it’s a good game anymore.

I play because this is my bored game.

OW is not arena shooter.

Every other shooter being BR is correct and that is why I don’t play those either. However I am starting to move away from OW as well. The bad things are becoming unbearable and it lacks any sense of progression either.

The game is still incredibly fun to me. It has problems. But I still enjoy it.

I played og CS and CS Source almost every day for like 15 years. Could never get into CSGO.

Because they variety of playstyles give me drastically different options depending on what I want to play. Also playing with friends. I like a lot of the maps, and don’t hate any currently(Ilios is close). None of the heroes feel super oppressive to me, generally.

At this point, it’s the McDonald’s of online multiplayer shooters for me. Cheap and easy, mostly for all the wrong reasons.

I slightly hate myself and relish in pain

I burnt out on other games tbh

I’m hoping when MS takes over Bethesda that they do something with Quake. I don’t really expect them to fix OW.

Honestly, I don’t play that much. I was playing with friends, but my friends don’t really like it. I don’t dislike the gameplay, but there’s not a whole lot of hype or reason to play for me, either.

Yeah, other then to have exclusivity and games on Game Pass, I doubt Microsoft plans on changing the way Blizzard makes their games.

Matches are quick enough. Even MW2 lobbies I play here and there because the matches are pretty quick. Finish one, onto the next. Battle Royale games take too long. Games like Tarkov is just inventory simulator into a walking simulator. Games like Counter-Strike and Valorant are like Door Simulators.

I don’t even though I want to play it because I’ve moved to MacBook as my main computer.

Why would you ever do that lol.

I’m a big apple fanboy, not going to lie. They make amazing products.

I don’t, I quit the game and uninstalled it.

Because even though every aspect of customisation is terrible the core gameplay is still mostly fun, which is enough for me.

I want to see Mercy and Moira Mythic skins tbh

i actually enjoy the game, so i still play.
There are some things that i dont like but it doesnt spoil the overall experience.
I have been playing less comp though. I dont know if thats a time thing or a “not a fan of the reset” thing. Probably the latter.

OW is actually a great secondary game… atleast while you are good at ignoring monetization related stuff like challenges, shop, events etc =)
and dont take seriously stuff related to current matchmaker like hidden rank and huge spread in skill between match participants

I still enjoy the game when there’s no Hog or Orisa.
