I didn’t play it a lot yet, but the maps feel waaaaay too labyrinthine. Not even talking about flank routes, even just the rooms where the objective is in have winding stairs you have to find when you get booped off and they have approaches from like 6 sides. Maybe it fixes itself with map knowledge
Edit: To be clear, though, I’ll take Flashpoint over Push any day. This is a scale based on what I feel like when a map loads in, left is happy, right is despair:
Hybrid - Payload - - - KotH - Flashpoint - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - – - - - - - - - - - - - - - Push
But to be fair, most of the happiness comes from having successfully avoided Push. It’s relief.
I only play QP and it ain’t quick. Also a bit too much chaotic sometimes

Because it’s just an extended Control map. And Control maps suck, imo.
I think they are scared of playing anything that isn’t TDM, to the point of turning every mode into TDM with 5v5; And then removing the one mode that takes consistent coordination.
The worst thing about flashpoint imo is when you capture or lose a point and then the next point is like “150 meters away” so you get to spend the next 30 seconds walking to the next point where you may or may not immediately die and then have to respawn and spend another 30 seconds walking to the objective that’s 125 meters away.
It’s basically the worst part of push but it’s baked into the game mode due to how gigantic the maps are.
Idk apparantly walking 60 to fight a team on equal ground is worse than having to slog 60m up to the high ground of a castle where ppl are shooting u at multiole angles, or 80m to contest a space ship
like atleast with new junk city that is a badly designed map in my opinion and there are people who hated 2 CP which it seems like this is a advanced form of 2 cp as there is about 5 different points u could capture which one team only needs 3 of 5 captured to 100% to win each spot with spot 5 bascially being sudden death pretty much as each team would have 2 spots fully captured with leaving the final spot for a huge fight to end the match as a victory for either team depending on how things go like yesterday my team started off losing then things turned around and we basicaly got locked into sudden death like we caused the opponent to keep switching between rein and orisa in a attempt to change strategy which for them it ended up failing
uh that game mode REEKS.
Mode couldnt be more from creative. Its king of the hill but with the option for more rounds to decide a winner. We have that game mode already.
Walking distance. Every step i take i see a developer, who cant create a better game mode, smiling cause “im spending more time playing their game” according to their stats.
How its forced on us without an option to block being put into the queue of other game modes.
I see nothing new with this game mode except a pathetic excuse to lure in more people in.
Flashpoint in a Nutshell:
It needs to be in arcade. If I wanted to play COD hard point, then I’d play COD. And their maps for hard point are small. Like Nuketown.
