Why do adults hate kids?

Im 13 and i was in a comp game. I am 3401SR on my xbox acc. We were losing and this 2 stack started to insult me and stuff. IDK why this keeps happening. We were all kids before lol

because people dont like listening to people who sound like children.

1. because they assume they are better than them
2. because children have higher pitched vioces that cant get annoying to listen to.

As a girl with a higher pitched voice that is still to low pitched to be considered a girls until people her the way that I talk, I have been called a squeaker on multiple occasions.
It’ll probably get better for you with any game with voice chat in a couple years when your voice matures.

Sorry that you had to endure some bad behaviour from adults (in age, if not in mentality).

+1 for you.

Meanwhile, if it makes you feel better, majority of adults do not dislike playing with children (to me, that would be anyone under 18 years old) and in fact, i do enjoy playing with children because they always exude that exuberance in game.
Although i would admit that i would mute team chat after while because i can only take so much loud noises.

Why is everyone hating on kids? If you are 12+ you can play the game . So what’s the problem? They are toxic? Report them . They aren’t toxic but you think their voice is annoying ? You are stupid.

Idk I never flame you younglings, I do however get slightly worried when I hear a kid on voice, it all stems from previous experiences:

1. They tend to be loud.
2. They tend to be emotionally unstable (not really their fault its just normal not to have that much emotional control)
3. Talk to much, as in, refere to you everything that happened to them, to the point I cant hear the game itself.
4. They flame out of their minds cause they get upset when they die.

Had kids that did great, hell we were playing with a gold boy in group for fun one day, and he was very nice, he had SOME of the traits, but over all he was ok, and the team was nice to him. The chiller emotional ones are so adorable tho, theres something so sweet when they get happy about kills and plays or sad when we lose a fight or they die.
Hearing a sad kid appologizing for dying just melts me.

But i think the guys that randomly flame you cause youre a kid are the same guys that just need a scape goat, it gets worse if they are in a group. I hope you find nice people to play with.

I’m fine with kids so long as they pull their weight and don’t fill the coms with annoying nonsense. But I have run into some pretty foul mouthed and toxic kids in my time, or duos who won’t stop squabbling amongst themselves or babbling about unrelated things, and so it makes me a little wary. To be fair, not all adults are great either.

It does tick me off when people immediately get aggressive at kids just cos of their age though. We’re all just here to play the game, I’ll judge based off how they play and communicate, not people’s age.

I did have some kid jump into coms and beg me to tell his friends I was his girlfriend, and wouldn’t take the hint and leave me be… but hey, I’ve also had some guy trash talking the team and going on about how he was a personal trainer and how so many people respected him and gave him gifts and how we were losers unlike him… there’s trash at all ages.

The group you’re referring to as “adults” actually aren’t. I mean, legally they are… but they’re highschool and college kids… not people with lives and jobs.

under 15, high voices and insanely good reflexes and a lack of being full of crap and on a lot of drugs… makes you an inherently better player than the 16-25 crowd. As a 40yr old myself, I’m always so much happier to have “squeakers” on my team than jerkwad college snobs that throw matches without being aware of it because they’re so high on drugs, or drunk, or egotistical and stupid… all things that help them get into the right clique to politic their way through college… but that make them absolute garbage at video games based on quick adaptation to novelty and the ability to predict and respond to other human beings.

What I’m saying is… in ten years you’ll briefly be exactly like them. Until then, keep being awesome… and once you become one of those obnoxious idiots that think they are omniscient because they’re in college… try not to treat the next generation the way you were treated.

What I do hate is adults acting childish. The crying,the whining,the moaning and the toxicity they make me feel ashamed of being an adult. Times like that I wish I’d rather play the game with kids than the adults.

I don’t like playing with children because half the time they don’t take on board anything that anyone is saying to them. I’ve been abused ample times by a number of children myself when I’m literally trying my hardest to keep everyone alive. They are always spread out, always doing their own thing. I’ve played with maybe…a few kids who aren’t annoying and I have full respect for them and I give them endorsements and say thank you. Most people are toxic but kids are very frustrating but considering you’re in like silver or gold rank you obviously know what you’re doing. So I’m not sure why people would be giving you a hard time.
I’m 32 and people are toxic to me as well - we just have a community of haters and people who hide behind screens and freaking yell and swear and carry on like pork chops. You seem like a nice fella
