Why did Blizzard kill Symmetra? :(

Blizzard stated multiple times that there was no way to do anything with her current design without it making her stupidly OP or just continuing to have the same problems be problems.

She needed a rework. Winrates don’t matter if you have like a .8% pickrate or something ungodly low. The people playing her were the best Symmetra players, so that’s why she had a higher win-rate.

You can’t buff her kit without making her a pubstomper at low SR. And her kit is what makes her not good past Platinum. Blizzard only had two options: rework her even if it means people leave the game, or let her squander as the game passes her by and eventually she will become so bad that even mains drop her or leave the game.

You can easily buff her without making her OP.

Sentry Turrets

Movement speed reduction during Turret deployment reduced to 0% (down from 25%).
Cast time of Turrets reduced to 0.7 seconds (down from 1.4 seconds).**
Turret Deployment range increased to 15m (up from 10m).
Turret Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds (down from 10 seconds)
Enemies hit by Sentry Turrets are revealed through walls to the rest of the Team.

Photon Barrier

The size of the Barrier is increased.
The barrier is made concave.
The Barrier spawns closer to the player.
The cooldown of the Barrier is reduced.

Ultimates

Pressing Z (status of Ultimate), reveals the location of the Ultimate to Teammates through Walls.
