Yep. And you can also have assistants read the forums and send you useful aggregates and digests so you know what’s going on with maximally efficient use of your time.
While I am an advocate of private profiles, and don’t mind if the mods prefer their profiles to be private, what I don’t necessarily understand is why we are no longer able to see their post history?
I don’t think there was a problem in being able to see what posts the mods have responded to and which topics got a response. So I can atleast see the OP’s point of view there. We are all able to view eachother’s post history, but also able to see which the history of each mod specifically (like most forums), so for convenience sake… I would appreciate the transparency from being able to see each mods post history instead of having to scroll endlessly in the Dev / Mod tracker just to find a specific comment or post.

i know, last i checked Michael had 20.1 posts red … but there was a time when he was loged in for a long time and last seen was updating often, but there was nothing on top of that
i dont require from them to constantly post something, to answer every single thread, question, complain …
we perfectly understand that to create/program/code something meaningfull in to game takes time, they got schedules, deadlines, problems, etc.
Or the average forum post is stupid demanding the deletion of heroes, changes to heroes that would be broken, or suggestions that could work but goes against the design path they want for their game.
Many of the problems players face are user related and not game related. Blizzard can’t make people be good at the game.
The thing is, we’ve had multiple instances when the staff has been very out of touch in their comments which suggests they aren’t doing that/aren’t paying attention to what is told to them.
I was very bored a week a go and went through all of the forum support staff view counts. They all dropped in below 65k. I’m at 70k and I don’t have a full understanding of everything that’s on forums.
Unless they are using an account that is not linked or not logging in at all they aren’t doing the checking.
The only staff aligned individual with a forum view count high enough to maybe provide a good summary is WyomingMyst and I don’t think that’s his purview.
Thanks but what I mean specifically is clicking on their profile pic and then “View Activity”. In the past you were able to get a list of all the posts made by that specific mod or dev, like you could with any member, but now it only shows the profile being hidden. Overall it was a lot easier than using the back links or search feature.

And to be honest, I’m pretty sure the devs consider spamming 1 idea with only slight variations, and taking every bit of communication they give out of context, to be “non-constructive discussion” at best, and bordering on harassment and nagging at worst.
because people would LOVE making assumptions and using their profiles in their arguments - “X dev mains this hero so you know they’re biased and don’t care about this other hero”.
this community is extremely toxic and would use anything it can get its greasy hands on for their own use.
“Feeling super emotional while watching the Overwatch League finals get underway. Also anxiously keeping an eye on the local server. #CaptureHistory”
WHY on twitter and not in great, awsome forum thread full of passionate people, devoted fans on their own platform?
who cares about freaking twater?!?!?!?
its simply about beeing with community … but what we got instead? HIDDEN profiles
thanx, gg
It is so people do not look at their profiles and use it to claim they are biased on matters.
Once again, you are assuming a grand conspiracy that simply does not exist.
