Kiriko. Definitely top 5 for me in terms of design.
I donât main which is why I will forever be hard stuck diamond.
So your reason for maining junkrat is because you like playing junkrat? Wow!
Mercy
Because I canât aim. But when I saw how crazy every SJ Tech was in OW1, I got very depressed. The meme was ok I guess, but carving deep into mobility was a korean nightmare.
And after countless hours on workshops and parkours I was able to perform any jump.
Didnât went back to any of those after OW2 came out.
The adaptation period was pretty much negligible.
Iâd argue it is much easier and accessible for all players now, but the creativity and pixel perfect are still something for specialists.
Not complaining; its just a consequence of good design.
why do you speak so poetically
Iâd call myself a wrecking ball main (if there are any of us left) but honestly thatâs not the most accurate.
In overwatch 1 I was definitely an off tank player but climbing into and through masters forced me to learn allot of main tanks (ball obviously was a main tank but not allot of people played him and he was the first non Reinhardt tank I picked up)
Now when I play itâs pretty much exclusively dps and support. That other role is just a depressed punching bag
Echo
She has a very dynamic play style that involves a lot of movement and combos adding a layer of complexity to her kit making her much more engaging to play.
She also has a nice selection of cosmetics and quite frequently get featured in the shop and in battlepasses even if the devs forget about her from time to time.
I got banned for a week for making a teensie weensie little bomb threat against ball mains
During the summer of this past year, there was a bomb threat called at a Starbucks in⌠Somewhere, USA. Apparently, the caller overheard and misinterpreted a gassy patron when he told his friends he was going to go âblow up the bathroom.â

Zen, cause I can;t resist them balls.
My original mains back in OW1 were (roughly in order of hours played): D.Va, Orisa, Mercy, Moira, and Zarya. In 5v5, I dropped the tank role entirely because solo tanking makes me sad, but I expanded my support roster to include Kiriko. Iâve been trying to play more Ana and Bap lately, but the flankers always seem to be up my butt the whole time when I want to practice.
As for reasons why I like those support picksâŚ
Mobility
Survivability
And utility.
These were the ingredients chosen to create the ideal support heroes. But Professor Jeff accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction:
The ability to tilt the entire lobby team just by existing.
Okay, Iâm a sucker for the French accent, but of course Widow. I like her play style, and although I donât always play as well as I would like, I have my moments too.
Kiriko because Iâm a weeb and sheâs a lot of fun.
Junkrat
- Fun
- Hilarious
- Makes all the kids cry
Mercy
Because I do have an extremely caring personality.
Ashe,
Because
Iâm a rebel
My subreddit thread on why do you main Ashe has been trending since yesterday.
i donât exaclty have one, but winston is probably my single favorite character to play. the micro ways that you can express mechanical skill on him and the close attention you have to pay to the macrogame strike a really perfect chord for me.
Junk for the laughs. Iâll forever be grateful to the people who conceived of such a wonderful FPS character.
Reaper because I hate myself.
