Sure, we’ll all be celebrating, but a lot of early to late teens are out for Christmas break. What happens when you’re at home for two weeks and got jack to do besides sing carols and go to Aunt Carol’s house for some celebration?

I’m hoping they’re holding it off until the Rivals hype simmers down so more people will be willing to play it but i wouldn’t put it past them to try to prevent it from getting popular.
Classic had no que time, i’m pretty sure there was a good chunk of the players in that mode.

A perfect choice of date so that as few people as possible can play it, given that we will all be busy with the end of year celebrations.

a lot of people travel in holidays and even those who stay at home may be too busy to play. this game is not played by teens who have nothing to do but adults who have to prepare the dinner

I was so disappointed when there was no 6v6 mode. The game just feels like last season to me. I’m bored with it.

It’s played by both. Predominantly older teens/adults, but both.
There are 2 things which is a bit concerning:
- If the teens come to play Overwatch and also 6v6 test there is a possibility that the devs use the excuse once again not enough players play tank because teens like to shoot and kill.
- Right now Marvel Rivals has taken a lot of attention and it’s probably going to last 2 months and in the meantime there is going to be 6v6 tests. Since the new game has taken attention with the said format i am concerned that this will lead to less players playing 6v6 tests because new is always better then upgrade.

i cant imagine why a teenager would want to play this 9 years old game, when the game came out they were kids or even toddlers, they grown up with fortnite and five nights at freddy and those viral tiktok crappy games
I know I will be playing the bejebus out of it! 
It makes sense now why they wanted to release it December 17th: Christmas and the Holidays. Its like an early Xmas present!

I dunno man. Truth is the truth. I know a lot of high school aged people who play this game, and while they’re likely in the minority, older teens do play this game a lot.

I’ll be playing games like… Sh2… Or… P5R… Or… P5 Ps3… Or… Whatever I got for Christmas… Or like… Reading books… Or watching Christmas specials on my TV with my cat…
