They’re most likely allowing MR hype to die down. Which is dumb because it would mean that they are once again prioritizing business strategies over releasing things the players have asked for. I’ll never understand the mental state of the people there.

I’m so curious to see if queue times end up being the same as they were in ow1 again. As much as I preferred 6v6, it’s return isn’t making me interested in tank since I never really have been. It’ll be a shame if they bring it back and are immediately proven right lol
no one likes the bullet sponge simulator that is ow2, maybe a few people like holding left mouse button for the entire match, ow classic actually prove that 6vs6 is objectively more fun

Yeah, they know that most 5v5 critics have decided to play Marvel Rivals so it will be there perfect opportunity to tell us that 6v6 is pointless when in fact they knew that this added content wouldn’t be able to compete with the new game. Let’s only hope that this is not a case.
Reality is shameful. It’s pretty obvious what is going to happen. People are already pre-coping because deep down, they know Blizzard is right.

Blizzard if you’re reading this please make the game 6v6 again, no reason to reconstruct the orginial game to match the competetive gaming standard.

It sucks, because both groups are kind of right? Blizzard is right in knowing that 5v5 was necessary to cut down on queue times and keep the game alive, but players who preferred 6v6 are right in saying that 6v6 was more fun, and that it was better designed. But ultimately, a better design and more fun cannot keep a game alive when it takes 15 minutes to find an 11 minute match.
