Is it bugged atm? In two games I’ve had my shield point directly at an ulting mccree and dva bomb but both still killed me. Checked replay and it definitely doesn’t get broken at any point.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Brig’s shield has been ever inconsistent, it works based on the position of the stars or how the rooster clucks in the morning.

Hopefully when she’s reworked into a tank in OW3 they’ll finally buff her barrier size and deployment speed
Fr though her barrier is kinda wack sometimes. It’s generally pretty consistent but idk if it’s the size or the shape, but it doesn’t seem to protect Brig from the ankles down sometimes

Totally, it’s why I gave up trying to learn Brig. I still get blown up by pulse bombs on my shield, d.va bombs, high noon, etc. Idk if the hitbox for her shield is busted or what but it just doesn’t block stuff that it should 90% of the time.
I’m certain it’s the animation
Rein pulls it out on the front, however Brig pulls it to the side and then the front, and the hitbox gets adjusted super late
Not only that but it’s super messy, blocks behind and from the side where it should be blocking from the front for the first few frames of the animation
Whaaaaaat I’ve played her for like YEARS and never knew that
I thought it only counted as a physical object after the animation was complete because I’d always get shot halfway through the deployment animation
Well I know that if pulse bomb gets stuck to the outer edge, the explosion radius will reach you despite it ‘blocking’, because there’s not that much coverage anymore.

I don’t think it’s too much about playing her, rather a guess from the hack interactions
You are behind her and she bashes away, hack gets cancelled (not because distance)
You are in front of her and bashes… Hack goes through
