Supports are now getting more tools which give them increased survivability against DPS, but I’m seeing a lot of complaining.
Now killing supports will take even more skill. And if you love skill expression, isn’t that a good thing?

I’m DPS and thought most support had issues protecting them than Ana.

It seems that someone forgot about such a thing as balance and competitive element.

The only other options are: more mobility or CC.

but also want to point out that the devs themselves are still very much in an “adapt” phase…nobody should be looking at the balance of the game in its initial beta as a “here is what OW2 will be” example…

It’s more powerful than people realize. Healing and damage buffing can be strong. Sometimes the only option is to remove the support first before fighting the other dps and tank, and to eliminate them. If the support is an big obstacle than it become as annoying as double shields or goats meta.
This is all just to fix the ques. If you think any of this is staying till the launch of the game… well, don’t count on it.
They noticed support buffs makes people play support more, and since the beta is ending in like 4 days maybe they thought to just give people faster ques for the end of the beta.
