What do you think the "Big Surprise is"?

Overwatch Team last year saying they are working on something major this year.
What do you think it will be?
What do you hope it will be?
What do you dream it to be?

Personally, I think it might be a new hero customization mechanic. Removing reskin colors and allowing us to pick colors and icons to rep OWL.

I hope though its a new pipeline which allows faster creation of new content.

I dream though is they allow you to swap out hero abilities allowing you to create new metas on the fly.

The only “big” thing I think they could announce aside from a new hero would be a Switch port or Cross platform play.

I’ve lost faith in them so probably some boring crap 99% of the player base doesn’t care about. :joy: like choose custom colors for your skins! idc. I want more in game story stuff.

I haven’t been able to get my bearings since Oct12th I have been on the road a tons. I went stright to what would be “big” not what would be Blizzard “big”

I think there could be a new map or a base loot box content update like last year.

And if it’s something brand new there could be plenty of different possibilities.

I’m moderately excited for what’s to come but not overly optimistic, if nothing prominent is announced then at least the archives event will probably be new.

i think it doesn’t become anything now that activision has stepped up their rule over them and will implement “gamers loves micro transactions” which will must likely destroy the last faith the fans have in blizz, coursing a downward spiral for the company.

but since im a human being that still can hope for things to be better:
new maps,
new game types,
balance changes and not f’ing up in a panic,
a ton of lore dumps,
good story development,
new heroes with interesting stories and new playstyles.
