So the default key for push to talk is the key, which is very out of reach. I changed it to my mouse 4 button, and unlisted the key from the settings, however, at random times it switches back and forth even during a match. How do I fix this??

Does this happen randomly in a match or when you switch heroes? If you have any heroes with custom keybinds, I’d suggest making sure the push to talk for that character is set to your mouse button.
Its with all heroes, and it happens randomly
The message says “team chat joined – press mouse 4 to talk” but mouse 4 doesn’t work, only the ` key

Just to be sure, let’s go through and reset all of the keybinds. To do so, go to the Controls section and hit the Backspace key. From there, only change the PTT key and give the game a try.

I have a similar issue in game. My push to talk is bound to F for all heroes, but randomly during the match it will change push to talk to the ` key. I notice this happening most often when we switch sides from attacking to defending or vice versa. Is there a fix for this?

Just make sure your keybind is changed for that specific hero

I’ll necro again, just to tell you to get off your high horse. You didn’t get back and say it worked before, so it’s natural someone with the same issue would wonder. What even is the problem with necroing anyway, it’s the same topic.
