Top 500 icon not awarded after the end of Season 36

Hi there! I finished Season 36 of Overwatch 1 (last day!) within Top 500 of the Open Queue ladder and the rewards were not processed.

The ladder was extremely buggy the last few days but I came to reach 173 with 3136 in the ladder without falling off of it; ended on 3124.

You cant get the top 500 icon in ow2 anymore. And since the rewards from the last season of ow1 were rewarded in ow2, you wont get it anymore. Sucks to be you. You’ll never have it. Glad I got mine in season 20 or something

This is a lie, and a known bug, do not come on these forums spreading lies to people looking for help. the devs have come out to acknowledge that this is a bug.

Over four months since we have been denied our Top 500 rewards from Season 36 and still there has yet to be any official acknowledgement. The only rewards for Top 500 in Overwatch 2 now are player titles. I’ve linked the post explaining it here if you want to read more about it: Competitive CTF Top 500 icon - #7 by Brigitte-11594. It’s incredibly disappointing, but it seems the Devs have made up their minds. If you are missing other competitive rewards and want to read more about these issues, I’ve linked my comprehensive thread in the above comment.

You’re not alone in experiencing this bug. I’ve created a more centralized spot to keep our evidence of our missing Top 500 placement and rewards for Season 36. Under my megathread is a new category titled: Season 36 Top 500 Evidence. Comprehensive Thread Of All Top 500/Competitive Bugs. Please post any evidence you have to a file-sharing website such as Imgur, Youtube, Reddit, etc. and then reply with a shortened URL and your BattleTag to those posts so I can add them to the megathread as well.
