So we have the problem of a small group of supports and even smaller group of tanks leading to long Q times for DPS with matches in which tanks are up to ±600 SR away from the teams avarage just to creat matches… and the best idea you have is to nerf tanks and supports? Do you not think that this is maybe not the best idea to encourage people to Q tank or support?
Make this game all DPS and just move on from there.

Well, what if they made Tanks a lot less dependent on Healers, and lowered the Healer’s workload?

Might as well. Tanks cannot tank anymore, healers will struggle and DPS will whine about how their teams die too quickly.
I think the obvious intent is to rebalance the supports/tanks so that more varied compositions are viable, especially in regards to double barrier. The idea being that a more engaging tank and support meta will not only be better for the health of the game, but encourage more people to play these roles without being funneled into the same couple of heroes.
But in any case, the priority, as stated by the devs, is to target the double barrier meta. Queue times aren’t the major issue being addressed in this patch.
You can always count on GreyFalcon promoting his own thread when someone mentions the word tank.

Why have people not figured out by now DPSwatch is the unofficial title of this game?
Instead of getting upset that the Devs for the, what, 50th time, keep nerfing supports and tanks, just stop playing.
I love OW and the lore but even I stopped playing and uninstalled the game because it’s clear balancing is terrible.
Tanks are too weak to tank.
Supports cannot support without being seen as OP
They also said Queue Times.
