for the misunderstanding that is happening in this thread about my post
“i have not been actioned myself in any ways” I made this thread in hopes that a dev sees how horribly wrong the automated ban system has gone.
so here is the response i got from my ticket

so making tickets is not going to fix the false reporting issue, as they said, they can’t send the feedback to anyone else.
so the only thing we can do is make threads bout it and hope they are seen by someone important.
so guys, if you have even the slightest amount of copium coursing through your veins, start posting in the forums about the automated report system so we can maybe get some eyes on this and get something quality like done with it.
copium is running strong right now with me, but its better than losing hope
If you keep making threads like this … They get flagged and reported … and could possible result in a silence of the forums. I got a email stating not to make these kinds of post wher
Sigh. That is probably the most disparaging part of all this. We can’t talk about it. To those who feel wronged, there is no outlet to vent to, no forum to bring this to light, no recourse for their plight. And I cannot trust a report system that is as automated as this.
You have my sympathy. But this is just about as hopeless a situation as there is in this game. Really tragic.
i literally lost my account of 7 years back in july because of this bs. there is nothing you can do. they do not care. they will not care. unless they stop making money.
As I understand it, GM’s used to be active in these forums. They would pull up chat logs and call people out on their bs. I am not kidding when I say I can think of nothing else I would rather do with my day then watch that happen.
Now? Better watch out. Even being in this thread might get our forum accounts punished. Because as someone pointed out, putting out the entire ticket? … yeah you’re asking for a ban.
I just can’t sit idle anymore on this. It must keep getting talked about.
It would be so funny though. CS says you can talk about it on the forum, and then trying to do what CS says gets you banned. And yet somehow it wouldn’t be surprising that it happened with Blizzard
Why is this happening and why are we just sitting here taking it… Is it because there is no other game out there to play. Does OW have a monopoly on this type of game?
I mean what else do you do? If other players didn’t jump at harassing you for claiming you got banned even with chat disabled, then maybe something would’ve happened.
And no, there’s no other game that serves what OW does. You could say TF2 but that’s a mostly dead game and it doesn’t have the character appeal as OW since it’s limited to 9 “heroes”. Valorant is a tac shooter with abilities rather than hero shooter. Maybe Paladins? But that doesn’t seem as appealing as OW honestly.
Agreed, that is why I’m still here. I’ve heard rumblings of other game design companies looking to fill the space that OW has vacated. Cause if y’all don’t remember, this used to be the most popular game.
Now? Unreal. Now we’re watching accounts get banned by mob-rule style automation, a “casual” mode handing out account punishments, and $40 skins. What a fall.
