I dont get it. How does this company manage to make matchmaking worse and worse each season??? This is PATHETIC. Like what is going on? Do they just need to wipe the entire team and hire AN ENTIRE new crew??! I just dont get how my teams just lose games when we are about to win. It’s UNBELIVABLE how bad this garbage is. Im not for review bombing like on steam, BUT OMG ITS DESERVED. This is embarrassing AND HORRIBLE. OMFG

not really, OW has always had hard swings and snowballs. ults do that alot. get 2 picks with an ult early in a fight, boom you pretty much won that teamfight. sometimes it goes like that, thats the game.

I had like 10 loss streaks yesterday on Quickplay. I was literally sweating really hard to win a single game on all three roles, and nothing worked. I only finally one a game but it was on a DPS role and after like a dozen or so of losses.
Competitive was much better though and actually semi-balanced. But of course, it’ll never have the same matchmaking quality as OW1.

I love playing OW, but GOOD GRIEF is this matchmaking HORRENDOUS. I’ve never had this much of a problem trying to enjoy the game even when i lost in OW 1. It’s so bad

Tbh it creates a terrible experience for everyone. I was the designated DPS carry on a 8 game loss streak with 11k damage, while the other DPS was on Sombra with 1.5k damage. My whole team was flaming the Sombra and when I said I was on a loss streak, he said maybe I’m the reason for the loss streak cause I’m the only constant lmao. My point is, that Sombra shouldn’t even be in the same lobby as everyone else, and i understand his need to get defensive for others flaming him. Terrible experience all around where decent players sweat hard, while lower ELO players just get a free ride if they win, or get blamed hard for a loss.

I hate it so much. I know you can’t win every game obviously and losses are whatever but when its just a steam roll its annoying and/or not rewarding. Winning in OW feels like a “FINALLY A WIN” moment. I just rolled a team but it didn’t even feel fair in the slightest, but then 3 games before that i was getting stomped like wtf is going on? You can’t pair people up in quality matches? Id rather wait 5-10 min for a good game than <6 min for a stomp.

Dont u guys feel like in each ranked serie 2-3 games are secured to be lost and other 2-3 are also programmed to win?
Its weird but these giga stomps are so frequent that sometimes it feels like the game puts u with new players just to secure the lose.

No most match making is rather bad, has the same exploits in people just loosing a lot to get to low ranks. Or starting new accounts and just playing poorly.
And has never been a solved issue.
Closest we can get is a 1v1 game like chess that’s perfectly mirrored for both players, were you score people solely on win losses.
Which doesn’t exactly work for all games especially in game with heavily randomize elements or when on teams of players.
Some games are better at hiding it over others like Apex do to the randomness making some players look better or worse off then they actually are depending on their load out.

Players have been complaining about since day 1 and nothing has changed. They can advertise as much but if nothing is done to improve the MM, MTX & other issues. Players would just stop playing the game.

The matchmaking is probably bad in qp 'cause there are fewer players than in OW1. And Blizzard is throwing everyone together, regardless of skill, for quicker ques. I think once it gets to the point when a que takes about 5-10 mins to join a match in qp, the community will be leaving in droves.

yeah qp is so bad. I dont feel like sweating like crazy so sometimes i hop off comp for QP but JESUS. I can sweat like crazy and still nothing cause people just feed nonstop.
