Well I guess the money I was going to spend on the battle pass is going to River City Girls.
Look I want to support it financially but I can’t do that in good faith if this is how you treat us. I’ll buy the full game if it has an offline mode, make no mistake but PVP, I’ll just take what I can get for free, unless you get lucky and happen to have something I want and season 2 don’t really have anything I want.

Being a grind fest is why I quit playing WoW, and I given how little I’ve been playing OW recently I’m heading that way with this game too. I don’t want to grind, I don’t want a game to feel like a chore. How is that hard to understand?
Well then how’s this for hard proof. In Overwatch 1 backfill xp was 400. In Overwatch 2 it’s now 100.
Oh I pointed that out, when endorsements rewards gave 1xp even if you were endorsement level 4. Now they fixed it to be 1000xp times your endorsement level.
Great choice. I’m eyeing the sequel currently.
This thread is about the idea that they reduced XP gain in season 2 compared to season 1…
I don’t think it’s any secret that XP gain was reduced from the move to OW2 from OW1.

Well that explains why I’m at level 41 when I was past 60 at this point last season

Lmao just quit playing the game. Altogether.
You know things won’t get better. They gave you an inch and took a mile, the “game” is barely 2 months old and it’s already greed upon greed mixed with literally illegal practices (“discount” on halloween skins). They haven’t even released PvE and the game can already be treated as a second job.
Quit it before it disappoints you even more.

In the first season I got the last title a couple of weeks before season end and I was playing every day and doing all quests. Now we’re a couple of weeks before season end, I’ve been playing the same amount and I am nowhere close to reaching it. By my calculations I will need to play an additional 300 games and that will cut it close so I’m thinking of just giving up. They went to the other extreme and it’s really disappointing.
I’ve played half as much and am 180, will finish a little later than season 1 but nothing crazy. They did not nerf progression for premium pass holders. I cannot confirm if progression was nerfed for free pass players though as I do not have data for that.
Bringing this back once again: I’ve grinded out all dailies and weeklies only to find out it’s not enough to get all the titles in the end including the games played to accomplish those quests. Last season I was done like a month prior playing the same way. And yes, I did pay for the premium battle pass. The nerf definitely hits, about 25 levels worth when it’s all said and done. Luckily I wasn’t too excited for the “Titan” title.
