Stick to Rein Please.
JR was never specifically designed to remove shields and barriers. He was designed as a shield breaker, whom is almost as useless as Sombra right now in the current meta.
But ult charge is harder for everyone the 10 % slower ult charge to every one hurts everyone some more than others

You’re gonna have to clarify, because last time I checked Hack will take down Rein, Brig and Sig’s shield? That’s half the potential barriers in game. Unless you’re disputing EMP eating everyone’s barriers and shield health? Regardless, I’m not seeing anything “grossly inaccurate” about it.
I completely disagree that she needs to be buffed to end double shield meta. She should be buffed because she is UP and needs help at all elos, but I’m tired of Sombra being the bandaid fix for Blizzard’s broken design/balance choices. She becomes even more niche and gets nerfed everytime her niche becomes viable.

Ur right she does seem to be a bandaid fix to a lot of things but thats just because how her charcter is designed as the charcter to get rid of all abilities and personally if we had more of those bunker whouldnt be the only one to be countered i kinda think shed benfit from a passive

While shes within an area. Like a lucio area of an effect sheild either dont charge or charge slower id be ok with that.
Only Sigma has his shield removed by hack. It’s basically a single target EMP vs Sigma, it doesn’t work that way against any other shield tank in the game even Rein and Brig if they are blocking hack’s LOS with their shield.
Everyone says it’s because his shield works like Rein/Brig, While I won’t argue over semantics I’ll just say I disagree.
Hack and EMP cannot interrupt any animated ultimate, or projectile skills. Such as Winston Shield, Orisa Shield, Mei Ult, Doomfist Ult, Genji Ult, McFlashbang’s flash bang.

This guy is literally trolling, and has been since his first post. He’s justifying what he says as a Rein, and he’s part of the problem with the current meta, and nerfing Sombra isn’t a solution I will accept.

EMP absolutely remove both Winston & Orisa’s shields if they are placed already. Furthermore both Hack and EMP can cancel Blizzard.
Are you complaining because Hack doesn’t cancel EVERY ability in game? I find Hack’s interactions completely fair*, balanced and consistent.
*except Storm arrow, that should get canceled.

IF Orisa shield is animated and being placed it cannot be hacked or EMP’d. Sam as Winston shield, and ANY animated ultimate while in progress cannot be hacked or EMP’d.
I dont recall this ever being tested. I know about a hack going through barriers, but not shooting.
However i do agree the suggestion is broken.
He never once suggested nerfing Sombra, and Rein has NOTHING to do with the current meta problem. No one ever complained about Rein-Winston and Rein-Orisa is viable on a select few maps. The meta is because Orisa and Sig are overtuned.

But, I’m sick and tired of hearing people QQ about Sombra when their main is a contributing factor to the current issue with the game.
I simply suggested Sombra gets the buff she needs, and if so, can still dismantle the current meta, without throwing out nerfs to 4-15 other characters.
Because honestly man, people want Rein nerfed too because of the current meta.
I disagree with that completely. The reasonable easy way to fix meta is to fix Sombra.
Well yeah animations cancels are very few and probably should stay that way unlesscwe can cancel her ult mid animation too as a defense against it Which ya cant as far as im aware of

You can’t just fix current mess of a balance with one change just Sombra. That just won’t work. CUrrent balance state is horrible. Everything is ruined because of a role queue. We need a huge number of changes -___-
That’s why I disagree with the Sigma nerf when they buffed Sombra hack against him.
I classify his shield as animated like Orisa, and Winston.
You absolutely can cancel EMP, the window is just pretty short. You can cancel most cast-time Ults.
