And that’s not what is happening here. Blizzard was like “we have a charity sale here!” And you’re using that to make a bunch of assumptioms about people because they are wondering if it will rerun. They aren’t going up to the BCRF and saying “If you want my donation, give me the skin.”

No… I wouldn’t…? How does that make sense? When someone makes a request they’re not demanding it right now, just asking them to do it again. I’m sure if someone, in June, asked for another breast cancer skins and Blizzard said “Yes, sure, we’re releasing Pink Moira in October” they forumite in question would be incredibly happy. They’re not going to respond with “No. Now.”
It’s like when it’s January and someone asks for a Halloween skin. You don’t say “An odd time to request a hallowween skin, we’re just about the enter the Lunar New Year”, you use your common sense and presume that Blizzard will release x thing whenever it is appropriate, you’re just looking to inspire them to do it at some point.

I think the guy is honestly just angry that OP is calling everyone selfish for not wanting the skin back, when they’re being just as hypocritical wanting the skin back because they think it looks nice. OP essentially said those who are against it coming back don’t care about the charity but if we can all stop being fake for 1 second, they just want the skin. If they didn’t then they would have made a separate donation.

An yes we could always just donate, I’ve donated before (Not telling you how much, that’s personal) but I also want to create awareness and give people an incentive to donate even if it’s “selfish” if we want something in return. I’m pretty sure Pink brought a good amount of money that was used for BCRF.

I wasn’t saying that you can only request such things in the month of it or preceding it, what I was saying is I would be more inclined to believe this is truly about the charity if it were closer to October or if OP had said something about bringing it back in October. I mean, I guess I shouldn’t be 100% certain because I suppose BCRF could be in on the lie, but I am at least 100% certain that that is the claim being made and not “we raised 12 million and 10% of it is going to the charity”. The claim explicitly states that 12 million was given to BCRF.

And I have seen that argument being made towards people who have lost family members to breast cancer. Seen a teenage kid who lost their mother to breast cancer harassed on this very board because they wanted the skin and to donate.
