I think there are a ton of folks in here that have never experienced being locked out of a team because you are a woman. It is hard to join any professional esports team as a woman, you will 100% have someone male of equal caliber chosen over you due to complications. Those can include: verbal harassment from team members, being in team housing that men cannot behave if one woman is there, or just having men on the team speak over you when you are shot calling/ult tracking.
A ton of higher ranked players than me have experienced this, and I personally experienced this trying out for low ranked tournaments. Thereās nothing like hearing my mechanical skills and shot calling were better, but because I didnāt appreciate the r**e joke my personality didnāt fit in. I finally found a LGBTQ+ team to play with and it was a great experience.
Well that should not take to much longer. I had hope for new soon, I was hyped as hell for OW2 but as sad as it is I am loosing all interest in OW the game I love and have thousands of hours in.
The OW team leaders have mismanaged the game really hard the last few years. And the CMs have not done a good job to manage expectations.
I really hope something comes soon. And not the blizzard soon.

Thereās just nothing to make us WANT to play the game these days, weeks even. A reaper event? Cool, great skin. Earnt in 2 days. Amazing skin but thatās it. Done with the game. No really getting to that āmore skins than any year priorā, which is at least 90-100, with only 3 skins by the start of March.
I really donāt mean to be rude nor disrespectful but there just isnāt anything to do and the silence is beyond frustrating. The game is currently more baron than Junkertown.
A game is nothing without a community and developers. Itās a shame when the two canāt interact because one party chooses to neglect the other.

come on man give the dev team a break. All the valid points u have brought up were due to Bobby (may he rust in no peace soon) pushing the devs to switch projects every few weeks or so. Its been handled horribly but not by the dev team, they continue to love the game and are just as frustrated as you or me. Its the higherups like Bobby we do not trust, team 4 we must have faith in.
no I agree, 100%, itās not them necessarily but they are part of blizz, my point was that we trust devs ability to make great games but we cannot trust blizz to market or release anything anytime soon or for them to interact with the community or have something spontaneous with us because theyāre not allowed.
devs most likely do care about the community but blizz will gate them from us so weāll never see their love, sadly though, blizz and team 4 go hand in hand and thereās nothing we can do about it
