I do think widow should be able to headshot 225 and below squishes. She takes a lot of time to learn. High risk-high reward

A good Widowmaker changes how whole teams play the game, and she is the only character who consistently does that. It forces certain playstyles and certain heroes. This is not fun for me, especially if I am in a role that does not have a counter to that.
You could make an argument that Sombra does the same, but I think defending from flankers is normal during any game, although perma invis is a distinct difference.
Regardless, if you put Sombra and Widowmaker on the same level of being able to affect team playstyle and fun, then does that not say all it needs to say on its own?

Oddly enough, we were in the new Anubis clash map last night, and it was my Widow vs. their Phara. Sure, she was able to kill me a few times, but for most of the match, Phara kept eating sniper kill shot after kill shot. Her team mates ended up accusing her of throwing for pushing Phara into Widow on that map. The new Phara has much better mobility than her original version, but if she is unable to close the gap to drop rockets directly over Widow, then the sniper will punish her if she has any decent aim.
Saying sombra is a widow counter immediately followed by “#casualwatch” is hilariously ironic.
Sombra is only a counter in low elo lobbies lmfao.
It’s quite simple really. When you have a hero who can one shot 4/5 of the enemy team in 5 seconds if the widow player chooses to do so, than you have a hero who will always be broken as long as the widow player is good.

Yes, overt lying upsets me.
Hitscan players have been babied in OW2. Just go window, cass, tracer and you can turn your brain off and climb.
OW was my first FPS (granted I’ve been playing it since 2017), but I can still pick up any of those heroes and hold my own in high elo games at this point.

So funny thing about map design, their are “usually” three or more lanes to approuch.
Where you have cover and additional layers of highground.
widow not only can’t shoot through walls, but by nature of her scope (and this being an fps) She can only really see into one lane at a time, and limited chunk of such.
Anyone can get close to a widow, with understanding of map design and game mechanics.
even characters you would think that would get countered by her like pharah, can dance around flanks and roof tops to be engage right on top of her in places she can’t shoot at till your in range.
It’s not uncommon for lucio’s to fall out of the sky onto her.
Nobody likes instant kills, besides people performing them. End of story.
