Feel free to Dispute my Points, but don’t Disregard them.
They can disregard your points or dispute them. Makes no difference, it’s not synonymous with defending Blizzard, especially if we’re going by definitions.
So you have more time to find what does work against it. 2 weeks is plenty of time. That’s okay for me. Ideal even.
I didn’t pay a cent for the last 2 heroes. I used the free BP. And it takes less than 3 weeks.
When I did buy the BP and got the hero, I didn’t feel like I was getting any P2W power (as someone who has played gacha and other p2w game models)
I can tell just by my eagerness to play against a new thing with my old raggedy picks and how I get a lot of value from that first couple weeks (as a lot of people aren’t good with them yet, I can be the bigger threat when I shouldn’t be)
And you just “Nooooo, I shouldn’t have to log in 5 hours. Gib nao.”
Yeah but Ignoring Talking Points is Lazy and Indicative you’re Fighting a Losing Argument IMO.
Maybe to some people this isn’t Quite Considered P2W, but it’s still Pay to have-a-Massive-Advantage-in most-Cases, which I think is just as Bad.
Well we waited 4 Years for PvE and got nothing in the Meantime. The we ACTUALLY got Nothing except a Kick in the Balls and a Price Tag for every Subsequent Hero. This is the Biggest Downgrade in all of Gaming.
Plus I think our Time should be Spent Playing with or Against said Hero, not having to Grind through Bad Balancing just to get what we’re due.
As long as counters exist, it’s pay to win.
So, should pharah and soldier play the same?
That would make the game better?
No. They should just give us the new heros once they come out, instead of locking them behind a grind or BP
What’s the last game that has released a new character, and gave it away for free? Pretty much all of them, when you realize there’s always a free way to earn them. But you can also just outright buy them in the same game. Why is that not a problem in those games? But all of a sudden, over here it’s the craziest thing ever?
Just like in other games, they pretty much are just giving it to you. You just have to play a little bit.
So is it the 4 or 5 hour mark that offends you this much?
What other game are you talking about?
Because in those other Games, like League I assume, all the Champions are all the same and you’re not Allowed to Counter-Swap Mid-Game.
Genshin Impact is one of the highest earning and most popular games in the world right now. It gives away free characters all the time.
If you’re talking multiplayer, let me nudge you towards League of Legends.
LoL is a great example, no one cried this much in HoTs who followed the same model (and so many other games)
Games like Siege that release a new operator, and you have to pay for those last I looked. That’s still popular. DBD is another game that still lives and is pretty lame with no DLC.
I’m sure there’s more I’m not saying, but these just flew into my head. All popular games.
have you ever played another hero shooter released after TF2. or any moba?
Ur dumb
Ah, so buying power is more sensible since you can’t swap? Therefore it’s okay?
Doesn’t seem like what you were initially arguing.
No, because League doesn’t rely on it’s Characters’ Uniqueness and Counter-Swapping is literally not Possible. Every Champion is nothing more than a Glorified Cosmetic.
Oh ok. So, other free to play, mobile-like, micro transaction hell games. I was thinking about real games.
You know what? I take back what I said earlier. All the new heroes should play exactly like 76. Like, exactly.
Welp, this is where we finish this argument. You have no clue what you’re talking about.
Then you’d love CoD and whatever else realistic shooters are out there. Because that is how they work.
OW isn’t going to miraculously start trying to be a CoD. Not sorry.
Sadly, OW2 is actually waaaaay closer to COD than it was. Blizzard likes money i guess?
I don’t support COD either. They charge money for a reticle and the color blue. Also, unlike OW, there’s no hard counters that are locked behind paywall or grind. They both suck in their own ways, but OW2 sucks a bit more.
