I play all of the tanks pretty much but Iā€™m thinking Wrecking Ball might not be a hero I play a lot.

He could be the answer to the Pharah that your dps teammates refuse to deal with for some reason, think about it like thatā€¦

heā€™s sooo fun to play! and seems his skill ceiling is highā€¦tho i canā€™t say much till we see him in a normal matchā€¦his dmg seemed ridiculously good in training room, yet it was hard for me to take down widowmaker who was in front of me in game [took way longer for her to die so idk]ā€¦overall, i like Hamtaroā€¦i mean Hammond,heā€™s adorable and fun as heck <3 [now i can play another tank aside from Orisa/Dva yay!]

Man Iā€™m loving this Hamtaro turned murderer, he looks like an amazing off tank and he is a blast to play. Also, hitscan tank! Finally you wonā€™t have to rely on the dps to kill the Phara!

Only thing missing now is the Rein rework and bug fixes, now he can consistently pin enemies behind him, itā€™s getting super dumb. But hey. with LFG doing miracles for teamwork and now Hammond, these feel like better times for tank mains.

is there any ETA for Rein ult fix? i know they said theyā€™re gonna re-code the entire ultā€¦i thinkā€¦which is awesomeā€¦but iā€™m really curious as to when it will happen? itā€™s rly weird play either as or against Rein, i honestly have no idea when imma get shattered :shrug:

Iā€™m going to enjoy playing a bit of an attacky mobile tank with a decent gun. Hammond will tempt people to overxetend though. All of his abilities encourage you to dive right into the enemy team and die immediately.

Not that I know of, Itā€™ll probably take a while, I think itā€™s safe to assume that Reinā€™s code has to be really weird. I mean, they have barely touched it for 2 years despite being broken since release. And Reinhardt only seems more broken each patch.

Right now theyā€™re iterating on Torb (wich I love the way it is tbh). And then probably they will Re-re-re-re-rework Sombra again. My guess for Rein is probably end of the year? I donā€™t expect it to be fast is what Iā€™m trying to say.

It could just be coincidental butā€¦ I noticed a bunch of charge / pin pushes yesterday. Targets were just moving like bowling pins and not becoming pinned. Multiple QP matches and in multiple makeups I would receive the cross-hair and system notification but no pin actually was performed.

Nevermind WE DO HAVE SOME REINHARDT NEWS!

From the devs interview with Seagull, chat asked Geoff about Reinhardt. He said they are actively working on the Shatter fix right now, he explained that the problem with the inconsistencies is that Shatter needs a lot of checks for shields, obstacles, map geometry and stuff, so every time they tried to add more checks it was really bad on the performance, wich is the reason they havenā€™t been able to fix it yet.

He said that the new code for shatter is almost there, they wanted it to push it in this patch but there were still issues with performance. He said that on the internal play-testing Shatter feels so much better than before, and that they will almost definetly add it on the next PTR patch!

Regarding Brigitte, Seagull (God bless this man) asked why a Brigitte can stop a Rein charging, that it doesnā€™t make any sense that she doesnā€™t fall down like when Reins or Doomfists collide. Geoff replied saying that this is actually a bug, and not intended, that collission interactions right now are all over the place, and they want to put a patch that changes systematically how collisions like that work in order so they are all consistent to each other. This most likely means that Rein and Brig will both fall down wich makes a lot more sense, and probably that Doom and Brig will also both fall down if the Brig times it right.

So there you go folk, Shatter fix on the patch after this confirmed! and maybe the Brig/Rein stuff too, or shortly after!

Charge fixā€¦ some dayā€¦ But hey itā€™s still great news!

Well good news to read. Yet, I will believe it when I see it. Now, I would love a response on why does the interface & server respond target is pinned but instead pushes the target away as well as not report the damage.

To many targets not shield or using in-vulnerabilities abilities getting away with murder on the old man. My other issue hey if the other team likes to stack up on each other as a strategyā€¦ Why can Reinhardt not give charge damage to more than one player?

since the nerf to Tracer i became a D.va main as i cant still strike fear with her as i learned how i can flank with D.va like i could with Tracer
