Tac visor needs to hit all headshots

In MOST cases. I can kill people faster without using it because i prioritize headshots and people aren’t deathly afraid of peeking a normal soldier… At Best its someone I would have killed anyway, and at worst people just run and hide.

please make his ult more Lethal. It needs a 30% damage buff or it needs to hit all headshots.

I hope you are trolling.

But in case you didn’t know, you can still aim in visor and manually go for headshots, so just like, do that?

Solider players acting like their hero isn’t already insanely good for the complete lack of skill it requires to play him :skull:

Soldier main that doesn’t know how his ult works, cause if you “prioritize headshots” you would know that he can still headshot during his ult, if you aim at their heads…

Now imagine auto head shots while damage boosted and through a amp matrix DOES THAT SOUND BALANCED TO YOU?

from my experience it only hits headshots if you’re really close range.
but okay

No - it hits headshots if you actually hit the headshot so you physically can’t kill someone faster than without it if you aim exactly the same way

I mean, that just means that you are not as consistent with headshots as you maybe thought

in my entire experience since I’ve been using soldier, I never knew you could move the
‘AIMBOT’ up to their head; so why not just make it the default? The implication doesn’t even make sense either. It just autolocks to the body without even implying you can hit headshots.

I found it out on accident when someone ran up to me and i heard the “ding headshot”

It did at one point and it was irredeemably busted so they removed it lol it might have been an April Fools card or a real balance change, I forget, but it was waaaay too strong.

Because 100% headshots would be busted.
You act as if it would make no difference and is easy to do anyway?
Yes, it autolocks the body, but you can still freely aim.

up until now i did NOT know you could freely aim soldiers ult. i thought you could just swap targets. my point still stands though. Its still not threatening.

I’m curious, how do you define “skill” in the context of Overwatch?

It was an April Fool’s and the only thing more busted in that mode than auto-headshot Tac was Echo - who had something like a 30s long ultimate so that she could dupe the enemy S76 and farm auto-headshot Tacs herself. Good times.

Having to aim and think about positoning, resource management, skillshot ultimates etc. You know, nothing of which Soldier HAS to do.

So hitting shots, positioning, map knowledge and engagement/ultimate timing are not needed to successfuly provide value on this hero? Which heroes need these for skill expression?

Not really no. You stand there and spam your hitscan weapon at an enemy, you get in trouble you just sprint away or heal yourself up, so positoning is less of an issue when you have self sustain and mobility.

He’s not Mercy level easy but for how simple and easy his kit is, he gets a lot of value out of it. To expect him to be any stronger is just absurd.

Soldier is already ridiculous and needs no buffs.

I just wish the additions to the HUD didn’t cover the head as much. A simple red dot would do, I don’t need person sized cursors blocking my view. Exaggerated I know, but still.

Your point does not stand. You say you don’t get why but it’s obvious that it’s there to create a skill gap between good players and bad players.

It was on an April fools patch and you could just instantly delete a team with it. In a patch with massively overpowered abilities and ults, it was by far the strongest and there wasn’t a comparison.

This will never, ever, ever, ever happen.
