yeah, its beyond broken.
It’s more likely that their Ult has less value when they have an aimbot on.
We see this from time to time. You can tell a soldier who is cheating because he does so much worse during their ULT

Hopefully I do this math right.
19 dmg per shot. X .3 (+19)=24(Closer to 25). 24×2=48. 48 x 2(Matrix is 2x, right)= 96.
That’s 96 per headshot. Now imagine the game doing this for you.

they did this during april fools maybe 2 years ago. it was stupid strong

they tried this in an experimental patch and he took over the game. This is why yall shouldnt be listened to for balance.
Last time they did that they nerfed widow into the ground and now players are crying about pharamercy.

These are two VASTLY different things. Headshots doubles the damage at ALL ranges
People forget that the solider changes a while back made him extremely lethal in the right scenarios. His visor has no falloff range (other than it’s lock on) you can aim and hit headshots and he got more ammo no spread basically no recoil now and he kept the +1 damage because 19 people thought was too weak

That version of him gave me nightmares.

i could do what i was going to do anyways with soldier ult; normally. But now people don’t run and hide and actively avoid me.
I’m able to get away with alot more without my ult than with it. That’s the point… and its pretty obvious.

Well, you don’t have infinite range and zero spread.
It just sounds like you aren’t using the ult properly.
He’s overtuned atm imo. They need to revert his spread buff.

He’s already a worse Sojourn skill for skill. That would pretty much nail his coffin shut.
76 is good to smurf in your rank probably, but not good to carry high elo games with. He needs his 19 or 20 damage back for sure. He tickles enemies, sometimes to death, but most of the time just to charge enemy support ults. He is called a budget tracer for a reason, bap is called a better soldier for a reason, Metro is trolled in high elo for a reason.

How the hell is a literal legal aimbot not threatening, the only way I can see it being not threatening is if the enemy blocks it, which is on you for not taking an advantageous position or making sure there barriers are broken before you use it.

That is exactly how it should be, easy characters should lose effectiveness as you go up in rank if they didn’t you would have another brig 1.0

I was going to say, I’ve been playing more soldier lately and when you combo his ult with nano or kiriko’s ult it shreds
Sadly, this seems pretty plausible to me as why this thread was made. I think most players could easily see how ridiculous a suggestion the OP is making here. But it could seem reasonable if the ult isn’t as strong as it normally is due to said player literally cheating.
Hope that isn’t the case, but really the thread makes a lot more sense if it is lol
if i remember he does hit headshots, i think your required to aim to make it happen, that change was part of ow2, aim isnt required but i thought visor crit if you still aimed for head
