So this is what I gathered from testing this in the PTR and on LIVE
It took exactly the same amount of time to kill the bot.

According to this thread " Turrets still do 30 DPS " that dug a little deeper than I did, they still do 30 damage. Which would explain why 2 LIVE turrets take the same amount of time to kill a 200hp bot in PTR as well.
Is this a bug?? If not, give us 6 turrets back or at least more than 3.
*disclaimer I am not a professional tester. I simply did the thing, made a video, and counted how many seconds it took to kill the bot. That’s it. lol
I don’t honestly mind too much, since the 30hp and the extra slow compensates for the weaker kill power of the turrets. Especially if you consider that the kill power has gone more so to the Photon Projector.
You’re right that they aren’t as strong as the live version, but they do have more health and versatility, which kind of makes up for it. Of course keeping in mind that they can now be thrown. In theory, this will make them a lot harder to deal with in the mid fight and, more powerful.

Patch notes show they’re INTENDED to do more damage individually.
So, that’s a bug according to the notes.
But, it wouldn’t be the first time the notes and the devs said one thing, but the game and their actions in not fixing said the opposite. Meteor Strike is supposed to “stun and knockdown” the enemies it hits, according to Jeff in the developer update, but we all know that’s a fib.
Yes, they are bugged. They need to be doing more damage. When Geoff was telling us about it. He said we will only get 3 turrets because 1 turret was basically as strong as 2 current turret. That means that 1 turret should be doing at least 60dmg or close to that. It’s not doing that. And in the patch notes it says the the turrets increased in damage and slowness.
So yeah, I think it has to be a bug. I hope they fix it.
The only advantage of their ho is that they won’t get destroyed by a d.va from a long range. However, all heroes can still one shot them. + The CD didn’t change you still need to wait 10s for a new turret. And the range is still short, which means you can’t place them up high.
She got her damage buffed in literally every other area of her kit. IMO 60 dps turrets would be way too much.
Put it into perspective…
60dps is 1/3rd of a squishy’s life every second and the turrets slow, never miss, and now have 30 health.
You can throw them now, and they have all of those benefits.
And you can still shoot while they’re doing their thing. Her new M2 is nothing to take for granted at a distance and if you add them together she can do 150 damage in one second if you land your orb into a single turret target.
If they’re running through a nest, the turrets slow them, the orb guts them, and the turrets kill them. It’s a possible 210 damage in one second if you time it perfectly.
Why quibble on this?
They’ve straight up LIED to us before about much bigger issues.
It doesn’t matter what they’ve said leading up to this rework; they can change their minds at a moment’s notice and there’s nothing we could do about it.
Catching someone in a lie or a mistake doesn’t matter if you can’t, you know, force them to live up to their word anyways.
It’s not that they said that it will have more damage before the rework went out.
They said it would have more damage in the actual patch notes… This post is basically to let them know there is a bug where the turrets dont do more damage (like they should, since you know, it’s in the patch notes).
