I got shattered but then suzu’d and I know it hit me because i got the heal but still laid on the ground until i was killed… if that’s the case it needs to not work on mei’s ult. its already horrible and countered by literally just walking

Rein is so babied. Got 5 more metres of range on his stupid shatter for no reason, now it can’t be cleansed, stun duration is longer, it’s also seemingly bugged to climb elevations it shoudnt be climbing, like not even stairs, i’m talking about how it’s climbing cars and shattering people a level above

Rein has always been a bugged, babied hero, but I do remember losing one game where I 100% shattered the enemy team, but it didn’t go off because his back foot was in a Winston bubble way back in OW1.
I never got over it.
EDIT: And yeah, the rule consistency in this game is getting terrible. Illari gets full headshot damage on tanks despite their passive, Tank’s have knockback resistance but JQ’s knife negates that, etc.,
You can still immune shatter…but correct - can’t cleanse
That is very dumb. Rein already has it super easy I guess baiting out/ forcing a suzu is too hard for people to do so they will continue to make the game baby mode.
it’s not only shatter, it’s every effect that causes knockdown, like Sigma’s rock and when two Doomfists decide to kiss eachother

Maybe you guys would prefer endless D.va, Winston, Mauga, or Orisa metas. Personally, I’m happy the devs looked at Rein and said “Well, he’s out ranged by literally every hero, there should at least be something good about his kit.”
And that’s not even going over the trauma a lot of you still have over shields! The overwhelming opinion there seems to be “Rein’s strong because he can stand there and get shot. If anything he needs a nerf!”

In OW1 the Rein/Lucio interaction was so bugged I swear it was cheating for him. It’s like they decided it was unfair for Lucio to pick on Rein, so they coded some cheats for him. Rein could keep up with me while I was speed boosted, his hammer could reach orbit if that’s what it needed to do to hit Lucio on a wall, I saw him leap over the gap above the stairs on Busan downtown, and the worst case of “that’s not what happened!” was I was too high on a wall for Rein to hit, even with cheats, but he got me, anyway, and on killcam I wasn’t even on the wall.
Oh, yeah, and shooting him in the back didn’t even work. It repeatedly would not let me take his last HP.

It certainly is when Suzu is already a perfect answer to every ability including Shatter. You’ll just have to settle for it mostly countering shatter instead of entirely countering it. And besides, must the game spell out every little interaction for you? I didn’t know Mauga’s charge made him immune to CC until I found out mid game. Should Mauga have taken out an ad so I’d know ahead of time?

Suzu is a cleanse to status/debuffs - ashes dynamite, meis slow/freeze, anti-nade etc
It shouldn’t work for CC or knockback/down abilities imo.

Ow never had good manual in game about stats, skills and effects.
Several folks doesn’t even know what abilities behave as knockdown, what knocks do and even what perks each one of them have.
Since 2016 there are still folks who even doesn’t know that payload heals.

it used to and it should, or it shouldn’t cleanse mei ult. Why does it cleanse everything but knockdowns? for what purpose other than to indirectly buff rein?
