Immortality Field

  • Changed to a 40% damage reduction drone.
  • Cooldown reduced to 20 seconds

Brigitte

Inspire

  • Radius reduced to 15 (down from 20)
  • No longer heals allies who are packed but will continue to after the pack duration is over if Inspire is still active
  • No longer is active if the Brig dies

Barrier Shield

  • Deployment time is much faster
  • Now fully covers Brig’s feet
  • HP increased to 300

Rally

  • Now gives Brig’s teammates 75 armour down from 100 while Brig herself still gets 100
  • Ultimate cost reduced by 10%

Lucio

Sound Barrier

  • Ultimate cost reduced by 15%

Moira

  • Lingering heals now last 3 seconds

Coalescence

  • Ultimate cost reduced by 5%

I don’t understand the fixation with changing IF into some damage mitigation field. It saves no one, there would be no reason to use it reactively, which leads to losing depth and an ability that you just spam whenever you have it.

This solves nothing.

As for Moira, as long as her utility and damage are trash, she’ll never unseat Bap or Ana as a main healer.

The Sound Barrier change is nice, but doesn’t change Lucio’s niche and make him any more viable. He still is highly dependent on Rein, otherwise Bap and Brig are better choices.

Just change this to:

Removed immortality field.

40% doesn’t save anyone from anything. Ask Orisa.

40% damage reduction on top of Bap’s ridiculous healing output would make people insanely hard to kill

Granted the CD could probs be lower than 20 sec but why are y’all acting like it’s useless when it’s not

Can you give a reason to why a hero with below avarage heal per match should have a single of these changes?

Also, why should Brig heal effect be the only effect in the game that disappears if she dies?

Should Anas sleep disappear if she dies?

Brig does 10.5k heals per match. That’s not “below average” at all.

Lucio does 8k and Mercy does 11k. Brig is right up there with Mercy in the main support role healing #'s wise.

real quick, this is coming from a brig main myself.

it’s a compensation because she’s able to survive more because her shield health and deployment got buffed, it’s not about “all the other HoT supports don’t get theirs canceled when they die WHY SHOULD BRIG”

okay your obviously either bad at brig or use overbuff stats. brig heals over 10k per match, maybe even over 4k per minute which is A LOT.

Yes because throwing current IF at your feet when you get Grav’d, bladed, or dove is so much more creative and fun !! Much different !!

Damage reduction field is not useless, but its definitely boring. Just throw it down at the start of the fight. Guaranteed team-wide value.

what do you think of instead it being a dmg reduction field or an immo field, it’s instead a healing station/field? where it could heal like 45 hps on a 15 second cooldown (since he still has utility and mobility)

That could be cool BUT I know the community/Devs/Pros are all very anti-AOE healing right now

although it would be destroyable so :man_shrugging:

Go check overbuff. She is 5th out of 7 support.

Lucio also does more damage and speed boost.

Dont know why stats are so controversial to use in here when we are literally talking about numbers. Maybe because none in here actually care about balance…

She is lower than Moira, Ana, Bap, and Mercy.

None of whom are in the same role, Main Support, as Brig, and thus are not worth looking at to compare stats to her

She competes for the Main Support spot on the team with Mercy and Lucio. Mercy heals 11k. Lucio heals 8k. Brig heals 10.5k. She’s neck and neck for the #1 spot.

But also her healing is generally more valuable than Mercy because it’s 1) AoE and 2) longer range so she can be safer while doing it and 3) Brig can multi task while outputting lots of heals while Mercy can’t

Damage reduction field is widely more powerful and useful in 90% of situations. You think bap is a “must pick” now, wait till his utility is universally applied every 20 seconds.

Bap’s is for a whole team and he has aoe heals on top of it

With this change there will be no strategy when using it. Players would just spam it as soon as its off cool down.

We have already tried it during April Fools patch and it did not make anyone insanely hard to kill.
