So, I had a leaver in competitive, then I got the warning message telling me that I can leave without BEING PENALIZED, I left, and then I get a notification saying “Your endorsement level has gone from 3 to 2.” So, there are penalties for leaving?

Neither can you.That happens because it counts as leaving the game but no penalty since it says so right on the screen but guess they didn’t fix that yet🤷🏿♂️
Happened to me as well, I didn’t really care about the endorsement system before, but after that I don’t care about it at all.
That penalty is about SR and if you didnt lose any SR I dont see any problem. Who cares about endorsement level btw?

Aren’t you going to get more than 3 loot boxes in that time period anyways.
By punishment it means SR and not getting a competitive timeout/ban.
They should list that it will have effect on your endorsement tbh
To be honest the only reason it doesn’t is because that message predates the endorsement system.
They will either change the text or make it not effect endorsements.
Only question is when.
